Attended this event with one of my photography groups and friends last weekend. A yearly event that this dance group puts on and our organization donates all photographs we take

History - Odissi is one of the eight major classical dance forms of India, originating from the eastern coastal state of Odisha. It is celebrated for its deep devotion (Bhakti), fluid torso movements, intricate hand gestures (mudras), and sculpturesque poses that mimic ancient temple art.

Went to check on the North County Eagle and her fledling. I'm very lucky to have this shot (of course I changed out the sky). I was patiently waiting for some movement, then someone stopped by to talk and yes! She flew away so I waited another 90 minutes and I thought I had my eyes on her but looked down, back up and she had just taken off so I consider myself lucky to get this capture

I rarely get a shot of birds in flight but today I decided to head over to Torrey Pines and hope to capture the Peregrin's while transferring food mid flight. No food transfer today while I was there. Yay, but got one in flight along with some cute ones of Mom in the nesting area with 3 little ones

3/20/2026 - San Diego Henge

Thanks to a fellow photographer for his help in finding a location to photograph the sunset tonite (Henge - between two buildings)
This was my first attempt trying to photograph this event and with the sun being so bright it really made it difficult.

His second location (for moonset) was capturing it setting behind the Mt Soledad Veterans Memorial. That shot I unfortunately didn't get because my settings were completely off and it happens very quickly
