It’s wild how fast time moves.

Garrett has been a part of our lives for so long—more than just Ayden’s friend. He’s always been that extra kid in the house, always chatting, always hanging out, and never hesitating to include my other kids too. One of those genuinely good-hearted, respectful, funny, solid kids you’re lucky to have hanging around.

Now he’s 18… and he's officially heading off to join the Coast Guard. 💙 Before he heads off to basic, he asked me to take some photos of him and his sweet girlfriend—and of course, there was no way I could say no.

My heart is so full. I’m proud and I know his family is proud of him too!! So incredibly proud. But I’d be lying if I said it didn’t make me a little emotional, too. Watching these boys grow into men feels like it happened in a blink.

Garrett, you’re going to do big things. And I can’t wait to watch your journey unfold.

We love you, Garrett. Go be great.✨
