On June of 1979 was my very first wedding, I was paying off Art School at LS A, then our very last October 2022 for my brother David Burns, for his son James Burns, also doubles as our son. Happy anniversary. We retired 2019, its been a hell of a ride from weddings, high school seniors, police photographs, a professional witness in court cases, studio, professional head shots, Oldham County Fiscal court photographs, then taugh photography for Adult Ed. then in 2003 where hired as The international show photographers for ( ICES) Till 2018, we where Sugar Art photographs. And to top it all off we where Caregivers for 4 years for my brother in law who passed September 19 2023..... so now for retirment, just getting back from the OR coast and back for 2 weeks, and enjoying just doing what the hell i Want now. I have no regrets!!!!! It's been a wonderful life. So next year to remodel the house we helped build and more travel. So "Now" you know the rest of the story.

Good afternoon my Stringer Photography friend and clients, after back surgery 5 years ago I have found that keeping busy is the way of feeling better, and important to keep moving. The yellow building is the Photography studio, and moving over to the right my new Hosta garden, I wish I had this when I was still shooting High school seniors, and my bridle photo's. Also Caregivers for my wife's brother who had a stroke 4 years ago. And you all thought we retireded. Now you know the rest of the story.

Good afternoon my Face Book family and friends, well the new pain Meds my bone Dr gave me takes 2 hours to kick in and last 12 hours, so I can go a lot longer. So with that said started a retaining wall next to the Hosta garden, I keep finding things to do, this had been on my bucket list for years. Funny how when you feel better you get work done!!!! Cost under $80.00. So now you know the rest of the story.

Good morning my Stringer photography friend, well what's been going on sense retirment, yard work, being with close friends, enjoying our 3 cats. It's been a time of transition, conforming to retirment life, the virus did no one any favors, but out of bad comes possibility. Coming to terms with what important in one's life, and what needs pitching. I have seen friends and family leave this Earth, and now what's next!! Life is way to short to be angry 😡, love your self, take care of your self, and be kind and help others who need it with out asking for it!! Or anything in return, But above all be true to your self, and stop being what others want you to be. Never let your fear decide your faith. Do what feels right!!

Good afternoon my Stringer Photography Ky family and friends, well yes I retired 2019, and have not looked back, I miss my Sugar Artist family that I was so close to me for 15 years, my Father Daughter dances I did for well over 20 years! and weddings I photographed for 35 years, and other clients I still have close ties to, I will do work for, they tell me " YOU CAN'T RETIRE" your the only one who understands what i need. I still photoshop and copy old photos for family's, family is everything!!! Show me your familys passed! i'll tell you who you are!! for good, bad, or ungly!!!! it makes us who we are. So what now, how am i spending my time, well as you see here I love to play, and I still have the studio! so love my play time with the ones i care about! and Hillary Snyder is no exception, for well over 11 years, and the familys Christmas cards for the passed 10 years. Our Cottage in the Woods needs a lot of TLC and going to hit the ground running in 2022, new siding, roof, and clean up, so I think i am working harder now than when I was working. I had back surgery in 2017 and have recovered from that, and working to get my 1951 Packard back out on the road soon, a complete over haul next year and new paint!!! this is what Hillary is mideling in. Elaine and I want to travel more and get out of our comfort zone and experience new sights and reconnect with old friends who have made me who i am today. For now looking forward to 2022 and fire up the wood stove, watch old movies, drink a few pints, and have dinner with dear friends. Soon I turn 65 and hell I made it when so many friends have passed away. So now you know the rest of the story! God bless us all and lets kick this virus in the ass. 👾👾👾👾👾
