Some stories are extra special to tell. 🐾❤️ We loved creating this video for last week’s Humane Society of the Tennessee Valley Gala!

There’s so little record of our earliest days that we had to combine 2011 & 2012 into one post. To those of you doubting our humble beginnings, behold!

1. Up first, the early days live-streaming Maryville College football and basketball. One of our first big opportunities and without that steady paycheck, we likely wouldn’t have made it past the first couple years.

2. Fueled by Four Loko and a dream

3. Somehow landed the opportunity to produce Widespread Panic ‘s Halloween show concert dvd. Drove to Chicago, shot the show, drove through the night back to Knoxville, and delivered the following morning.

4. Our first local tv spot with Tennessee Riverboat

5. 1st Forecastle Festival ! The festival that started it all for us. We still show crews these pics any time they complain about an HQ. In all fairness, we got added last minute and it was the one and only time we didn’t have stellar accommodations in Louisville. We’ll always be eternally grateful to Boone and AC Entertainment for giving us our first festival opportunity.

6. 3.5 minute daily recap is wild so here’s a cutdown of one of the first of many Forecastle Festival edits. My Morning Jacket is a L&K favorite so this was particularly special.

7. Another of our early livestream gigs. We spent many great years with Knoxville Ice Bears

8. That time the SPHL fined us $200 for writing this on the ref’s copy of a playoff game DVD. Feliu maintains that the only way the refs could be offended was if they knew in their hearts that they did not call a great game.

9. Humble beginnings! The GH1 on a budget slider shooting website content for Rush Street Neighborhood Grill (RIP).

10. Started a music series called Close Shave. One or two cameras with stripped down audio, shot in unique locations. Some of our favorite days.

11. Deer Tick at Forecastle Festival

12. Blank Newspaper cover! Always grateful for all the love and support we’ve gotten from our buds at Blank over the years.

13. Our longtime friend and collaborator Jennie Andrews invited us to come capture some b-roll at a Bliss Home Knoxville shoot she was photographing. We turned that opportunity into multiple tv spots and a long relationship with Bliss that we’re very proud of.

14. Early Knoxville Ice Bears tv spot

Happy birthday to Dave Stanley! 🎉

Dave is a simple guy with many words, which feels pretty fitting for our Director of Content Development. He’s our in-office wordsmith, always ready with a “How’s it goin’?” and, if you’ve worked with him long enough, probably a “Got any weekend plans?” But that’s Dave. He genuinely cares about people. He remembers what you told him, asks about the show you went to, and always makes time for a conversation. He’s also one of those people who seems to know a little about everything, bringing curiosity, intelligence, and a wealth of knowledge to both his conversations and his work.

When he’s not working, you’ll likely find Dave mountain biking in the Urban Wilderness, catching live music, or spending time with his wife, kids, and his canine twin, Edmund. 🐾

Happy birthday, Dave! We’re lucky to have you around.

Happy Birthday to Rachel French! 🎉

To know Rachel is to love Rachel, and to have her on your team is even better. She’s a fast learner, an incredible listener, and the kind of person who brings her full skill set to every project she touches.

As our Production Specialist, she’s quick behind the camera, a wizard in the edit, and always ready to jump into whatever a shoot throws her way. She comes prepared, asks the right questions, wants to learn, wants to grow, and somehow makes it all look pretty effortless. And if you’re on set with Rachel, you’re probably having a good time. She has a way of making everyone feel comfortable and connected without even trying. Her creativity has also brought some seriously fun social content to our marketing clients this year.

She’s also our resident trend radar. Rachel knows what’s in, keeps us on our toes, and has a sneaker collection that is objectively cooler than ours. Rachel has been an absolute beast this year, and no matter what gets thrown her way, she keeps showing up and keeping things moving. We adore her, we’re lucky to have her, and we can’t wait for our next Moose visit. 🐾

Happy Birthday, Rachel! ❤️
