This is a post I’ve been wanting to make for a very long time. A few years back, I topped out at 320 pounds. If I had to get down on the ground for any reason it was a struggle to get up. Putting on socks took an effort at one point. I had lower back and knee issues. It sucked. I lost a bit over time but still was at 275 as recently as a year ago dealing with type 2 diabetes and still not feeling my best. I set an initial goal at 200 pounds and hit that this morning. Also, I’ll be doing my first 5K this Saturday...something I thought I’d NEVER be able to do just a year ago. I still have work to do...probaby needing to drop an additional 15-20 pounds and work on adding muscle where it’s needed. It’s been a journey and it’s not over yet, but I’m getting there.
