I’ve had this on my mind for a while and just needed to be open about it. Lately, my drive to post on Facebook and Instagram has really faded. Ever since TikTok took off, it feels like both platforms shifted heavily toward reels and video, making it so much harder for photographers to show off their work.
Because of that shift, I’ve decided to stop actively posting on this page. I’m definitely not deleting it—it holds so many great memories, and it’s still a convenient place for anyone to message me about photoshoots or inquiries.
Moving forward, Instagram will remain my primary messaging hub, and I’ll still drop a photo there every couple of weeks like I’ve been doing. Mostly, though, I’m shifting my energy toward new outlets that feel far more promising for showcasing visual art!
