I get it. It’s uncomfortable to be in front of the camera.
How lucky are we to live in a time that we will be nostalgic for in the years to come. You deserve photos that will stand the test of time. You deserve to look back when you’re old and gray and remember this moment for exactly how it was. You don’t have to be the perfect, airbrushed, flawless version of yourself that you think you have to be. You are the version of yourself that your partner loves, that brought your children into this world, that your mother raised, that carries you through this lifetime. How special is it to photograph the beautiful moment that we live in, for exactly how we see it now.
I truly have the best job in the whole world. I get to show you just how beautiful you are in my eyes. I want you to bring your messy hair, wrinkled clothes, stretch marks, extra skin, your hesitancies to our session together. That’s what makes you so much more beautiful.
