It was such an incredible honor to be invited into their neck of the woods in Toronto and to celebrate alongside them, their family, and friends.

This was a day I had been looking forward to for over a year, and it was everything and more than I could have imagined. From the sweet moments of Jess getting ready in her childhood bedroom (including a few tears from Dad), to the sacredness of saying I do in their church, to portraits at Christians parents’ home where they’ve shared so many beautiful moments together, to the joyful celebrations that carried on late into the night.

And of all the little Italian touches woven into the day, my favorite was how deeply family was at the heart of it all. Nonna & Nonno flew all the way from Italy to be there, and the looks of pure pride and joy on their faces? I’m not sure it gets much better than that. 🤍

Here’s to the Del Medicos, who have a very special place in my heart. 🤍

Summer ‘26.

The summer of Last-minute trips, The summer where we slowed down, and pretty much took a six-week “sabbatical.”

It was refreshing, renewing, and honestly, exactly what we needed.

I even read 4 books this summer. It’s been several years since I picked up a book. Between two kids, being a wife, running a business, and consistently taking on more than I can chew… who has time for that without falling asleep by page two?

This summer reminded me how good it feels to simply be… and how much I’ve missed that.

And yet, at the same time, I can feel my craving for creativity at an all-time high. Which, I suppose, goes to show just how much I love what I do.

My hands are itching to get back into it, and I couldn’t think of a better way to kick off this new season than with a wedding this weekend across the border in Canada, with a couple I absolutely adore.

Here’s to a new season. 🤍

Not a day goes by that I don’t stop and realize how lucky I am, that I get to explore beautiful places, meet incredible people, and create memories that will outlive us all. Calling it “work” almost doesn’t feel fair.

This year also marks 10 years since I moved to the U.S., and I don’t think I’ll ever stop feeling grateful for the people I’ve met, the places this job has taken me, and the stories I’ve had the privilege to capture along the way.
