Home from Dragon Con! ✨️ I'm getting my wisdom teeth removed this morning so I'll be resting for the next couple of days. (Also it's my 5 year anniversary with my partner, who is out of town for work 😭) what a DAY. Happy Wednesday 😊

Also I shared to my IG stories but wanted to share here too! I cannot wait to get these galleries edited and delivered. I feel like every single one went just so perfect! I was able to photograph in places I haven't before (because I hadn't considered them, or I've been kicked by security) so I am so grateful people just left us alone 😂💜

Definitely walked 13k+ steps per day for the last week so needless to say, the forced healing break is exactly what I need. 🫠

Excited to resume photoshoots this weekend! Hopefully the rain stays away so we can have some sessions at the Kansas City Renaissance Festival as well as the sunflower field at Grinter Farms 🌻⚔️

My next "In the Wild" is getting a little more enchanted! On Saturday September 12th, I'll be heading to the Kansas City Renaissance Festival area for a morning of storybook-inspired portraits! I'm picturing flowing fabrics, wild fields, woodland edges, medieval details, and a little bit of magic. ✨️

This will be a morning-only edition, with sessions taking place in the fields and surrounding areas near the festival. I’m still determining whether shooting inside the festival grounds will be an option, so festival admission and inside-the-fair photography are not included or guaranteed at this time. 💜

Getting packed up to head back out to Atlanta for yet another Dragon Con this weekend! I'm seriously so excited to see so many familiar faces and party with some of my favorite people :)

Also side note, I just wanted to say HUGE thank you to all the business this year. I've been busting my butt, and I'm proud to say because of you, I've been having my most successful year since starting my photography business. I was able to settle some debts that had been looming over my head, and when I get back from con, I will be able to finally get some MUCH needed dental work done. And I can actually afford to do it. That means everything to me and I get lost in the "keep going of it". I need to remember to sit back and see how far I've come too.
