something’s that’s been close to me for over a decade.
I’ve learned that just because something feels heavy doesn’t mean you’re doing something wrong. some days feel like a lot but I’ve also learned it’s important to not carry it all alone. I think a lot of the time we assume everyone else is handling life better than we are - when really a lot of us are just quietly doing the best we can.
healing isn’t linear, mental health isn’t linear, and neither are we. you’re not behind, you’re human.
you’re allowed to take your time figuring it out (and honestly do we ever 🤪)
SO THIS IS YOUR REMINDER : you’re allowed to have hard days, to ask for help, to take things slower than everyone else…
