Most kiddos need a minute or two to warm up in a new place. Most kiddos don’t love to have the focus on them and be in front of a camera. That’s ok!

Mom and Dad. The best thing you can do to help your kids feel comfortable is to be comfortable yourself! Easier said than done. I totally get it!

Mom and Dad told me how much he loves the song Opalite so obviously we started by turning that on to dance and move to. As soon as he realized Mom and Dad were having fun he was having fun too!

If you can come to your session as committed as this awesome Dad I can basically guarantee you an epic gallery. Plus the bonus of the best stories to laugh about later on.

The moment you flip the test and see the words “pregnant” there’s an entire shift.

Your mind begins to think and wonder about things you never had before.
How you view yourself and how you view the world around you is totally different.

You look at everything not for what Y O U need, want, desire…but instead how every minuscule thing will effect the new life you’re now growing.

Life is no longer focused on just your husband and your relationship.
Life is no longer focused on yourself.
Life is now focused on what you need to do together to care deeply and intentionally for another.

This change.
This shift.
It is one of the greatest gifts.

Your eyes are opened to a larger capacity of love.
Your eyes are opened to how the Father loves YOU.
How much he longs to provide and take care of YOU.

You love your little one with a profound and unexplainable love before you even hold them in your arms. If God can allow us to feel love this deeply. This intentionally.

Imagine how much more rich in goodness His love must be for each one of us?

Summer feels oh so good after you’ve finally graduated!

To all the grads out there who feel like school has encompassed every ounce of your attention for who knows how long…I hope you celebrate BIG this Summer!
You deserve it!

I know first hand how exciting it is to finish your photo session. You did it! You got everyone ready and your session went far smoother than you thought it would.

You saw a few photos on the back of your photographers camera during the session when she got super excited. So you think “ok surely there are at least a few good ones!”
But now you just want to see a fully edited one. You want that solid consolation.
