I thought it was time for a little intro…
Hi, I’m DLO! (That’s my nickname—I’ve had it since I was a kid. My full name, Delory, can be tricky to remember, but an easy way to recall it is that I’m named after the car, the DeLorean. )
✨My little daily ritual? Marking off my to-do list—it’s the small victories that make my day feel complete.
✨My husband and I have weekly coffee dates and have visited over 80 coffee spots in the KC area—yes, we take our caffeine very seriously ☕.
✨I have a beautiful daughter that I have the privilege to homeschool, and watching her learn and grow brings me so much joy.
✨I moved to KC from Alabama 10 years ago to help launch a church, where I now have the honor of serving as worship pastor.
✨I’m plant-based and obsessed with cashews—they might just be my favorite snack ever.
✨Math is definitely not my friend 😅, but give me a camera, and I’m in my element.
✨In photography, I love capturing big, cheesy laughter—the moments that feel real, joyful, and full of life.
✨Every session, I give it over to God and ask the Holy Spirit to guide me. I want His joy and peace to shine through in everything I do.
✨One day, I’d love to shoot on a beach or in Colorado—there’s something about those places that just speaks to my soul.
✨When people look at my photos, I want them to feel comfortable, joyful, and like they’re right there in the moment again.
✨If I were a character in a story or anime? 100% Princess Mononoke—strong, and fierce.
✨Fun fact: I took ballroom dancing for 2 years, so yes, I may have some questionable spins and twirls up my sleeve 💃.
