How do I ensure that your elopement photos don’t get lost or ruined in the post-process?✨

Great question!

I’m definitely a Type A personality when it comes to my business - which I think is a good thing for you.😆 This is my step-by-step process to ensure your photos are safely delivered to you:

- take photos (obviously)
- back up photos on “working” SSD drive
- place all film and SD cards in a led bag through airport scans (if applicable)
- also back up photos on “cold” SSD drive
- keep photos on SD cards until your completed gallery is delivered, the I’m clear to format the cards to use them again
- keep all “old” SSD drives and “cold” SSD drive in fireproof box in my home for years to come

Rest assured your photos are safe with me!🫡

The way I document love stories🤍

Nobody is truly themselves without room to breath. I love observing my couples and how they interact while gently directing activities or prompts to help cultivate genuine reactions.

Is your love soft and quiet? Maybe I’ll have you sit in an opening and hang out with each other while I grab different angles and intimate moments. No pressure to perform at all!

Does your love scream bubbly and adventurous? Maybe I’ll have you roll around on the ground, run and embrace each other, or do cartwheels on the beach!

Because the most genuine photographs don’t come from stiff poses or forced smiles. They live in the in-between— the messy laughs, the wind-tangled hair, the sandy toes. ✨

One of the reasons many couples might choose to elope is because of the pain or difficulty of family.

I hear you.🫶🏽

My husband and I got married super young, and we thought the idea of eloping in nature was epic. But we chose to have a wedding to include our family instead… which ended pretty terribly.

Last year, we decided to give each other a little elopement ceremony experience and we read each other our original vows in the midst of the towering Grand Tetons. Because our covenant to one another has never changed, but we (I) wanted a redemption day.

Two takeaways from this story:

Coltin & Arianna’s NW Arkansas elopement is proof that you can beautifully blend a family chapel service + intimate photos in nature for your elopement day🤍

These two reached out to me with the purist hearts about their intimate winter elopement in Arkansas, and boy was I excited to connect with them over not only their dream elopement, but similar worldviews and personalities! They + Luna really do hold a special place in my heart!!🫶🏽

Their day started off slow while they got ready in their bnb before we headed to .catherinesabg to meet their closest family members for their ceremony. After that, we embraced the cold as I had them run around the chapel with Arianna’s breathtaking cathedral veil for some really fun and emotive photos! Then we ended our time in the Arkansas mountains before the sun went down on their chilly winter day. It could not have been more perfect.🥹❄️

I am praying for such a beautiful and fruitful marriage for these two as they embrace life together!!🤍🫶🏽💍

But they feel like they can’t. Trust me, 19 year-old engaged Abby felt the same way!
