The bluest skies greeted us as we prepared for the first look! If you know Manhattan at all, you know it is usually extremely windy, and May is always rainy. But that day God held back the wind and the rain and we had absolutely perfect weather.

Lexi and Kyle chose to do their first look and private vows amongst the rolling hills at Colbert Hills. Between the blue skies and the greens of the course, it was the perfect combination for the most stunning film portraits.

Film is such a beautiful and rewarding medium to work with on a wedding day. While I was second shooting for Monika Herbert I was able to capture these precious getting ready moments! These were taken on the canon 1v 50mm with Illford Delta 3200 rated at 1000 🤍 Also yes that is indeed an all glass bridal bouquet!
