The Towler family gathered on the shores of Whitefish Lake for an evening that was about so much more than photos. It was about being together. Cousins running through the sand, grandparents surrounded by the people they love most, and the simple joy of sharing a beautiful Montana evening with family.

As I watched everyone interact, I couldn’t help but think about how meaningful these images will become over time. The little ones will grow taller, the kids will become adults, and life will continue to move forward. But these photographs will always bring them back to this moment, together on the lake, with the mountains behind them and the people they love beside them.

These are the sessions that remind me why family photography matters.

The couple, the dress, the florals, the colors everything was pure magic. So much YES.

Anyone who’s been following along knows I’ve been experimenting with offering video as an add on for my elopements. I’ve been testing gear, learning new workflows, and figuring out how to bring video into a wedding day without disrupting the natural flow or feeling of the moment.

The learning curve has been steep, but every film gets a little better than the last and this one felt really special.

I’m so honored to present Mr. & Mrs. Boucher, one of the sweetest, kindest couples I’ve had the joy of working with. Their vows had me in tears more times than I care to admit (okay… five 😭).

This one will live rent free in my heart for a long time.

The King family brought so much joy, laughter, and energy to their summer session, and I left with a full heart and a camera full of smiles.

Aranza’s dream of an intimate lakeside wedding came to life at Horseshoe Lake, surrounded by the people who love them most. Family traveled from Mexico, Florida, and right here in Montana to witness such a meaningful day, making every moment feel even more special.

We were welcomed by vibrant purple wildflowers, the dreamiest teal water, and bright spring sunshine. The wind definitely had a personality of its own, but somehow it only added to the adventure. Between the laughter, happy tears, and the quiet moments shared along the shoreline, this day felt so incredibly sweet and intimate.

Between keeping the secret, watching the weather roll in around us, and trying to dodge the rain long enough for the moment to unfold perfectly, my heart was racing right alongside theirs. And somehow, it all came together in the most beautiful way.
