💜 Lavender Field Mini Sessions are Here! 💜

I’m so excited to be returning to Longview Lavender Farm on July 11th & 12th for one of my favorite weekends of the year!

These aren’t your typical mini sessions. Instead of standing in one spot and smiling at the camera, we’ll take a relaxed little walk through the blooming lavender fields, stopping at some of my favorite spots along the way for photos. The lavender, mountain views, and summer light create the most beautiful backdrop for families, couples, children, maternity, seniors, and anyone wanting to capture this season of life.

At the end of our time together, you’ll have a chance to stop by the adorable lavender shop and browse all of the handmade lavender goodies and gifts the farm has to offer. It makes the whole experience feel like a fun summer outing rather than just a photo session. 🌿✨

Some wedding moments are the big ones everyone expects.

And then there are the little moments that quietly become some of your favorites.

Maranda and Tyson, they’re the kind of couple that feels comfortable together. The kind that doesn’t need a huge production or perfectly posed moments to tell their story.

One of my favorite parts of their day was when they decided to sneak away and do a more private cake cutting with only a few people nearby. Just the two of them sitting together, laughing, feeding each other cake, getting frosting everywhere, and completely forgetting about the rest of the world for a minute.

No pressure. No audience.

Just them.

And those moments are exactly why I love weddings so much. Because years from now, I doubt they’ll remember every timeline detail or tiny thing that happened throughout the day… but I bet they’ll remember laughing on those steps together with frosting on their faces.

The real moments always win. 🤍

This one still makes me smile every time I come back to it.

About a month before your wedding day, we’ll hop on a phone call together and go through everything.

Not just “what time is the ceremony?” and “where should I park?” kind of questions.

I mean everything.

Could all of this technically fit into a written questionnaire? Sure.

But there’s something different about actually talking.

On a phone call, we can walk through your day naturally and catch things you may not even think to write down. I can answer questions right then, help with timeline flow, make suggestions, and help take some of that wedding stress off your shoulders.

And honestly? It gives us a chance to actually get to know each other.

Because on your wedding day, I don’t want to feel like a stranger showing up with a camera.

I want to feel like someone you already know. Someone who understands your story, your people, your priorities, and what matters most to you.

The better I know you, the better I can tell your story.

And that means fewer missed moments, a smoother day, less stress… and photos that actually feel like you. 🤍
