Welcome back to the world of Karen's garden. These vibrant orange sulphur cosmos flower (Cosmos sulphureus), were planted by seed in Spring at the base of our driveway in part of her garden, here in Geistown, PA. They're now beautiful brilliant orange flowers.

If you didn't get to see the lunar eclipse, here it is. This shot was taken at about 11:53 pm this evening, 8/27/2026, here in Geistown PA from our front, side yard. The lunar eclipse will be at its fullest at 96.2-96.3% totality at 12:11-12:12 am tomorrow morning.

But I'm tired, so...

This pretty little couple graced our yard for but a few minutes, but I got him and her. Proud little House Finches.

Unfortunately, the settings on my camera weren't quite right, and the Phlox flowers are washed out, especially the lighter centers of the flowers.

Shot was taken 7/31/26 in part of our garden here in Geistown, PA.

This isn't an earth-shattering gorgeous photo, but I like it and he/she was just outside our front yard-facing sliding glass doors.

This little Song Sparrow was shot 5/24/2026 here in Geistown, PA.

We kind of have two backyards at our house. They are seperated by a chain link fence. One side has the trees and ground cover, and the other side has the grass. These pics were taken through the chain link fence, between two large bushes, into the part of our backyard with all the trees. These adolescent doves were under one of the Japanese Maples.

This little American Goldfinch was flittering around our yard here in Geistown, PA on 5/25/26. He/she's a fast little flitterer arounder. lol.

A visitor we had earlier this spring (5/28/26) above our outside basement door. They flew the coup before I could get good pics of the tykes.

Well everyone, I got another group of photographs from our yard enhanced and RTG. Here they are. Let me know what you think. Are they worthy? (mostly my friend the chipmunk who lives under our steps in the front yard (but away from the house). THere's also a few photos of a Song Sparrow sharing space with the chipmunk here in Geistown PA.

These photos were taken last week while I was sprawled lying on the floor underneath a raised planter we have by the front side sliding glass doors in our living room.

Well everybody, here's a short photo presentation of one day in my yard. I hope you like chipmunks. For the pics of the chipmunks, I was lying prone inside on the living room floor, shooting through a closed sliding glass door.
