Saturday evenings sunset was pretty and the sunflowers at St. Luke’s Carbon Campus added to the pretty skies.
The moon and Venus looked really neat too.

I was honored to again be part of National Night Out 2026 hosted by the Palmerton Police Department. Chief Kromer and the officers organized another amazing evening and the weather could not have been any nicer.
50 organizations were represented during the event and popcorn, candy and ice cream was enjoyed by many of the spectators.

I was able to view the Big Boy in the evening at Jim Thorpe Train Station. Day photos are ideal but this is a different perspective than most photos I've seen posted yet about the train.
