Happy Father’s Day to one wonderful, thoughtful, generous, and devoted man. I am so blessed to call you mine Nels Malzahn
I am endlessly grateful that I get to raise a family alongside you and that our children get to look up to a father like you. Whether it’s the chaos or the quiet, the highs or the lows, the perfectly planned days or the ones that go completely off course, I am thankful for every bit of it. Somehow, it’s often in the most ordinary moments that I find the greatest beauty—the moments I dreamed about, the ones I wish I could frame and keep forever.
Watching you read bedtime stories. Hearing the giggles during hide-and-seek. Listening to the endless laughter followed by, “Daddy, come get me!” Those are the moments that remind me: these are the days.
Thank you for showing up every day with patience, love, intention, and devotion. Thank you for choosing to be a present father in every sense of the word. Our children are so lucky, and so am I.
And to my own dad—Happy Father’s Day. Thank you for modeling these same qualities throughout my life and teaching me what to look for in a husband, father, and man of character. I am forever grateful.
