These anniversary photos were captured aboard the newest ship in the fleet, during its earliest sailings — for a couple who were married on the Wish in 2023 and returned with me to celebrate again!

This time stepping into a space no one else had photographed yet. This is what happens when clients trust you completely. They come back. And they help create work that hasn’t existed before.

Yes, I make weird faces.

Yes, there is light chaos and a lot of laughter.

And somehow… that’s how the magic happens ✨

Family sessions with me aren’t stiff or serious — they’re relaxed, playful, and built around real moments. If your kids are laughing, your partner forgets about the camera, and everyone walks away saying “that was actually fun,” I’ve done my job.

This is the part you don’t always see — start to finish shenanigans included — and honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way 🖤📸

Lastnight my travel agent emailed me asking if I would be ok having a Disney assigned room.

Lisa has been booking my cruises since the very first one in 2012. She knows my preferences, she's got all my info, she's actually worked with me for her own photos years back... She knows me!

I don't, nor have I ever, required a room type with my clients. Their instructions have always been, "just get me on the ship"!

Disney cruises aren't cheap! I charge to photograph weddings aboard the ships. I've been doing this well over 10yrs now! I am happy to stay on Deck 2, or in an interior room. I prefer being close to an elevator, because we carry A LOT of gear on wedding days and it saves our backs 😆

Lastnight, I received an email asking if I would be ok having a GTY room, meaning I will not know my room number until closer to the cruise date because my clients wanted to book a verandah room for us.

Immediately I said, do not let them spend that money!

**crap I'm gonna cry again just typing this out**

I know that despite my protest, if I said ok to not knowing my room number or having my elevator preference these clients will 100% book that room (I know my clients y'all, we talk A LOT during planning)

Lisa assured me this was a great resident rate and was not at all breaking the bank. I also know that this couple would very much want me to accept the generosity.

So in February on the Wish I will be photographing a wedding for an incredible couple, and I will be in a verandah room to boot!!!

This business/niche I've carved out for myself is the most rewarding, most incredible thing I could have ever done with my life! And to think, I wanted to be an architect....
