Sometimes things just work out exactly the way they’re supposed to.

The forecast called for rain all day, and I kept refreshing the weather hoping for a miracle. Then, the moment these two pulled into the parking lot… the rain stopped.

We had the entire session without a single drop, and as soon as we finished, it started raining again.

Tell me that wasn’t meant to be. 🤍

Some sessions don’t need an elaborate location or a grand adventure. Sometimes all you need is a walk through the park, a few quiet moments together, and someone who makes you laugh without even trying.

One of my favorite things about photography is getting to create just for the fun of it.

This fantasy shoot was the brainchild of one of my good photographer friends Chelsea Louise Photography, and it was so much fun seeing her vision come to life with such a talented group of creatives.

I’m really glad we got to be part of so many fun photography projects before her move to Okinawa. While we’ll definitely miss having her around locally, I can’t wait to watch everything she creates in this next chapter.

I've been smiling ever since this session.

When I shared the sneak peek, I mentioned how special this session felt. The truth is, I left that evening with the biggest smile on my face. Their excitement about becoming first-time parents was impossible to miss. It was in the way they looked at each other, the way they talked about their baby, and the way they held onto every little moment together.

I don't have children of my own yet, but I can only hope that one day I'm just as excited.

There's something so incredibly beautiful about two people who love each other creating a whole new life from that love. Getting to witness and preserve that chapter for them is something I'll never take for granted.

Congratulations again to these two. Your little one is already so deeply loved. 🤍

Some love stories don't need a perfect backdrop... but the beach definitely doesn't hurt. 🌊🤍

One of my favorite things about couples sessions is that there's no "right" way to do them. You can laugh, run through the waves, dance barefoot, steal quiet moments together, or just be yourselves. Those are always the photos that end up meaning the most.

🤎 Throwing it back to one of my favorite collaborations from last year.

I teamed up with Thistle&Grace Co. to photograph this sweet family at a farm, and it’s still one of those sessions I find myself coming back to. Between the love these three shared, the beautiful scenery, and the highland cows hanging out in the background, it was such a fun evening to capture.

Looking through older galleries always reminds me why I love what I do. The little moments, the genuine connections, and the memories frozen in time never get old.

And honestly, the highland cows were just the icing on the cake. 🐮✨
