The aspens had already turned 🍂 by the time we reached Blacktail Ponds, and the light was doing that low, glowy thing it only does in late October.

This session had a bit of everything a Wyoming fall can offer: golden fall colors, a rainy afternoon, and a sunset sky worth waiting for. It’s easy to see why the Gleason family calls Jackson their happy place.

These are the moments I hope hang on a wall someday. Not the posed ones, but the ones in between!

This is the time. Four months out of the year when the conditions are right for glowy family portraits.

I don’t shoot in studios. I don’t use artificial light. Everything is natural and real. It’s all about being in the right place at the right time.

That’s why I only take a small number of sessions each summer. Every session is planned around the best light of the day, in a location I’ve chosen for your family specifically.
