Hey yall! to help you on your journey of finding a wedding photographer, i thought i would put this list together of *What Questions Should You Ask a Wedding Photographer Before Hiring?*
-How do you handle different lighting situations?
-In how long will we get previews?
-In how long will we get the full gallery?
-What happens if we would like changes to our photos?
-How do you handle family photos?
-What type of edits are included in our package?
-How do you ensure our images don't get lost?

this will give you a really good idea of the professionalism of the photographer. So, let me answer these questions:

-How do you handle different lighting situations?- We use a mix of flash and natural lighting and always carry both! we love natural lighting but if the sun is too bright or there is not enough light, that is when photos look best with some artifical lighting. For speeches and first dances we will use multiple flashes to create a very cinematic effect.
-In how long will we get previews? You receive your previews within 72 hours of your wedding!
-In how long will we get the full gallery?full galleries are usually delivered in 30 business days
-What happens if we would like changes to our photos?we usually ask for any feedback when we give previews so that we edit your gallery according to your feedback. for example (too bright, too dark, etc) if after you receive your full gallery you want additional changes, we include one round of edits.
-How do you handle family photos?we help you plan family photos so its as less stressful as possible.
-What type of edits are included in our package? color,distraction removal, skin softening.
-How do you ensure our images don't get lost?we actually back up your images automatically so your images are backed up a total of 3 times.

A few previews for the wedding of Kat & Kevin! Katrina decided to go for a rustic style so we matched the editing so fit her vibe! Although I am usually a light and airy type of gal, having over 14 years of experience also allows me to understand and shift my style based on client prefrences. Instead of going for bright and minimalistic, we often picked darker backgrounds and used lots of backlighting to make the subject stand out :)
