But first…retake day. Sure the movers are showing up to my house any minute but retakes were scheduled before we signed any house contract. Duty calls! I’m trusting Mr Fun to handle the home front!

I’ve had very good summer with black labs. Sure they are easily distracted but I pull out my high pitched whine and I can grab their attention every time! It might have helped grab the attention of the humans too. I have no shame about looking/sounding ridiculous if I can get pictures like this! Thanks Halters!

Jacob is the caboose of his family. I’ve done a few of those this year and I always feel so lucky when I get to complete my set. I love that I get to see how ALL the boys in this family have changed over time but clearly Jacob has changed the most because he was so little when we started! Love that we got to incorporate some soccer photos AND that we were so efficient that we got him done with photos in time for his fantasy football draft!

Happy Anniversary to this guy! Mr Fun and I are celebrating 32 years today. We don’t usually get each other gifts for our anniversary but 32 only happens once so we decided to go big and get each other a house on Lake Sammamish! Ok, so it’s really happening the day before my birthday but that’s close enough. (The rule has always been that you can’t give me half a gift for our anniversary and the other half for my birthday but in this case I’ll allow it. 😂) We are really looking forward to this next chapter. It’s all hearts and rainbows for us! LFG!

And of course I need to share a few of Whitney and her Mama. You can clearly see these are two peas in a pod. At one point they not only finished eachother’s sentences but they were singing the same chorus to a song purely based on a key word I unknowingly said. (Yes, they all of a sudden started singing…and I was so there for it!)

This girl! The last time I saw her I think she was 12. Oh my she has changed so much! It was truly hard to pick which images to share because there were so many fun ones. Whitney really wanted to highlight some of her favorite books so we did a reading picnic. But also she had a lot of other great ideas so we were really kind of rushing at the end just chasing the light! That’s the sign of a good session!

This is a little sneak peek for Whitney...whose pictures I took up in Suncadia on Sunday night. We had to dodge some winds but we had beautiful clear skies!

This picture speaks to me right now! It's been a whirlwind 10 days. In that time we negotiated the purchase of a house (on a lake!), cleaned and decluttered our current house, listed it and accepted a full price offer on it. All while both of us are in the middle of busy season for work. Crazy and stressful and exciting and thrilling!

How are these giant boys my little baby nephews?! They are huge! Jack is leaving for college in about 10 days. I can’t believe that either! We snuck in a quick family session before he heads off on his next big adventure. ♥️
