This wedding is a great example of what I can do when you give me at least an hour for just for bridal portraits. Avonlea + Alex were married downtown at St. John’s on Saturday and afterward we quickly knocked out family and bridal party photos so we could move on to the bride and groom. We had over an hour to get everything in which gave us time to get so many different looks and vibes. Huge thank you to London Bloom Weddings and Events for coordinating everything seamlessly and making it such a wonderful day. It was truly a joy documenting your love story, Avonlea + Alex. Have the best time in Mexico this week. xo

p.s. Can we get a moment for THAT DRESS? It was Avonlea's Mom's! I simply cannot.

Haidyn wanted bookish vibes and bookish vibes we found. We are so lucky to have one of the most gorgeous libraries right in our own backyard in downtown Indianapolis. If you have never taken an afternoon to explore Central Library I urge you to go. Haidyn was an absolute delight to photograph and brought all of the main character vibes along with her favorite emotional support book. You absolutely killed it, girl! From senior photos to NEWBORN photos with Meghan, I can hardly believe I'm so lucky. Her new family came to see me at the studio this week and the star of the show was obviously Miss Millie. Alexa + Matt are just weeks away from meeting their little one so we celebrated by heading downtown to document this sweet in between time before baby arrives. Alexa has one of the most contagious smiles of anyone I know and photographing her is so, so easy. She wanted some studio and city vibes and I think we delivered. Love this set so much! Maxine is here and HOLY COW she is adorable. I think I spent the first five minutes just staring at her perfect face and hair! She was also the sleepiest baby and barely made a peep the entire time I was there. Haley + Eric, I know this road has been tough and I'm just beyond thrilled you're holding your sweet girl in your arms now. Max is so blessed to have you both as parents. Congratulations again, loves!

Senior sesh, but make it a family affair. Ty brought his crew with him so we could knock out a few family shots and darn it if they're not the cutest people ever. I had the best time discussing Jake Gyllenhaal movies and deciding whether or not the ducks and fish were following us because we were Disney characters or wanted food (spoiler alert: they were hungry). You are such a joy, Ty! Anyone that knows you knows how hard you've fought to be here and we're all just thrilled to see you marking off yet another milestone. Have the BEST senior year at MVHS, bud!

Cailey + Sam had the best day last week at one of my most frequented venues, Mill Top Banquet and Conference Center. The staff there is always on their game and truly put the bride and groom first! We carved out a lot of time for Cailey and Sam to chill out and breathe during the day and plenty of time of time for dancing at the end of the night. A perfect combo! You two were absolute dolls, thanks again for trusting us to document your big day. xo

When your friend and second shooter says her son is getting married and they want you to document it the only acceptable answer is, "just say when!" And "when" ended up being this past Friday as Suzy + Levi tied the knot in front of all of their closest friends and family. It was humid and threatened rain most of the day but saved the absolute downpour until minutes after we were safely inside and done with all of their portraits. Praaaaaaise! It was such a joy watching you watch your kiddo marry the love of his life, Amanda. I was moved to tears so many times during the day as I witnessed the pride and unconditional love pour out of you and Nick. You did so, so well raising that man, my friends. Congratulations again, Suzy + Levi! Enjoy your week adventuring on your honeymoon!

Branding photos but make it bookish. Tee + Tam contacted me a few weeks ago about doing a branding session to celebrate hitting 100K on Instagram and I immediately followed + fangirled. These two are absolutely a force to be reckoned with and anyone that encourages literacy in all forms is a hero in my book (pun intended). Thanks for having me out, ladies!
