Always special when one of my wedding couples calls me back in to photograph yet another milestone. I've been so bad at keeping up with posting my sessions so I'll try to get back on track and start with Sally + Aaron's engagement session from a few weeks ago. These two were so easy to photograph and exuded class, elegance and an effortlessly cool vibe. And, it didn't hurt that their pups were absolute dolls and smiled for the camera too! Phoenix is a ball of multi-colored sunshine. She's a nail tech at the Beautique where I do all of my girly things and though she's not my nail tech (shout out, Cecelia!) I've gotten to know her over the past year and fell in love with her sass, style and irresistible laughter. Last week I popped over to apartment and we created this beautiful set together in a half hour! It's actually impressive if you ask me. She's an absolute natural and I'm definitely going to ask her to model again in the future. Thanks so much for being such a great sport, Phoenix! You are stunnnnnnninnng!

Say hello to the most joy-filled Sunday afternoon wedding you'll ever see. Ashly + Andrew were married at the iconic Laurel Hall this weekend with all of their closest friends and family in attendance. I think I speak for all of us when I say the happiness these two shared was absolutely infectious; not a minute went by where I didn't see Ashly scrunch up her nose and smile the most genuine smile at anyone who was lucky enough to be in her orbit. And, the weather? perfection. The cake? Flawless. We really couldn't have asked for a better day with better people. Thank you so much for inviting us along, Mr. + Mrs. Rose! Miranda and her favorite girls met up with me last night for a shoot in the woods full of whimsy, witchy vibes and lots of magic. They've been each other's ride or dies since elementary school and their banter and inside jokes run deeeeep. It made me miss my girlies for sure. I loved every minute of my time with you all! You might remember Farhana + Tristan from their wedding in Austin this past Fall. I was lucky enough to get invited back down for another reception in Dallas at THE Dallas Mansion. That's right, if you were around in the 80's there's a good chance you or your parents watched the show, Dallas. Farhana's Dad was thrilled to bring their friends and family in from all over the world for the celebration and I was thrilled to be there. I also brought along Evie as my second shooter and we had the *best* time exploring downtown Dallas over the weekend and making core memories together. Thank you so much for having us out, Farhana + Tristan! As always, you are simply the best. xo

Baby Archer is heeeeere! Sam + Casey welcomed their newest addition last week and I was lucky enough to photograph the whole crew on Wednesday. Big brother Scout was incredibly sweet and loved on Archer on his own terms which basically meant minimal touching. 😂 We ended up getting the most adorable photos of the two of them! Also, I have to say that I did get a little misty-eyed because Scout reminded me SO much of Grayson when he was a toddler. And, since he happened to be a little sleepy he let me pick him up and snuggle him for just a moment which absolutely melted me. 😭Thank you for having me out you guys, and congratulations again on your beautiful family!

Another sweet newborn sesh from this weekend with Helena Briar. Helena's Mama is one of my favorite second shooters and we always have the best time sharing our hearts, connecting over motherhood and analyzing the latest season of Severance (where I *think* her name inspo came from 😉). Cass, you are stunning and glowy and eternally youthful I swear. Loved getting to spend a tiny part of my day with your crew. Congrats agin to you, Ben & Desmond! Can't wait to see your girl grow and thrive in the coming years! xo

Fun fact Yaz went to the same high school as me.....much, much later than I did. 😂 He's also a pharmacist here in Indy which is how he met Carley. They share a love for cats, Italian food and just being awesome in general. I had such a great time getting to know you both and can't wait to photograph your reception later this year! So grateful we got a warm, (windy!) and sunny day to shoot these.

Better late than never! Finally got my own senior in front of the camera for his portraits two months shy of graduation. Oops! 🙃Grayson was an absolute ham (props all his doing as he explored my studio lol) and way more comfortable being photographed than I've ever been. I really think I was able to document almost every part of his personality and I *hope* it's because he felt safe and seen with me. It's all I've ever wanted for my kiddos. I love this set so much and though I'm insanely biased I think he's pretty handsome. But, more importantly, he's kind, hard working, smart as a whip and funny as hell. If you ever have a chance, ask him to do some of his impersonations, he'll having you rolling in seconds. Love you so, so much G and forever grateful to be your Mama. Now, let's get you to PURDUE! 🖤💛
