At night I dream about pizza and pasta, but every day I wake up and have 2 eggs with avocado toast. I can say the alphabet backward better than I can forward, so I guess you could call that my party trick. (I'll be honest though, I don

’t party often.) I'm your typical sports mom. At this point, I'm surprised my van hasn't started growing decals. My three crazy kiddos keep me sane and also drive me insane. I know, it’s weird how that works. But I love them to no end! When I'm not driving my kids around from sport to sport, I get fully invested in ridiculous reality TV. Specifically the Bachelor. We will just pretend like I didn’t just tell you that though! I don't discriminate. I will drink white OR red wine. 😂 Also...Target. Need I say more? While I don't use my Elementary Education degree to teach kids, I know it'll come in handy for mentoring, workshops, and educating the photography industry, which I love doing just as much as shooting! Child and family photography is my jam and I can’t think of many things I would rather do than capture photos where you can feel the love. Photos you can hear the giggles. That is where my heart lies in this amazing business I have built! I hope you stick around! I am so glad you are here!

I met this sweet family today at our condo in Gulf Shores. They shared their story with me, and it really touched me. They lost their sweet daughter, Wren, several months ago after a long journey with her heart. Her big brother, Paxton, was just a little light in the world, and I am so grateful to be able to capture some photos of their first real family vacation. I know they would love for her to be here with them, but I am glad we were able to include her in some of their photos!

Every year, I do Quinn's birthday photos with some family photos sprinkled in! I met Bryce and Alicia waaaay back around 2007ish while I was working for Verizon with both of them. I can't believe how long I have been doing their photos. I mean...I have done newborn photos for them!! We switch between urban and nature every year and we actually found a nature spot that we haven't gone yet! They are one of my favorite shoots every year, and this year was no different. I LOVE all of the love everyone has given me this fall season. I have done 20+ shoots in October, which is way more than I have done since I cut back on my photography 4 years ago. I am so appreciative and grateful to all of my clients and people who have reached out.

I think it’s safe to say I need to call it a day on any new bookings. I have a full time job teaching 2nd grade and I have 3 kids in 5 travel sports. My shooting nights are super limited and I’m getting very little (if any) breaks in my already crazy schedule. I wish I could book everyone who has reached out, but I need to get caught up on my editing and take a little break. Hopefully I can book some Christmas minis, but if not, I’ll be back in the spring!

I have been taking their family photos for years now! Back in the times where the boys actually smiled without bribes and didn't hate yearly photo shoots quite so much...🤣 But we somehow always seem to capture some pretty awesome photos of them and we have fun even if they don't admit it. At least Bethany and I do! The amazing Brock family!
