Happy Monday!

If you've been here for a while, you know I don't typically photograph many seniors. It's not because I don't love it—quite the opposite! As someone nearing 40, I sometimes wonder if I'm fun enough to connect with them. 😅 So when friends and family trust me to capture their senior's photos, I'm always honored and excited to get creative.

Today, I'm thrilled to introduce this beautiful senior, Aleigha! My sweet friend Danielle reached out, and I simply couldn't pass up the opportunity to create some country-inspired photos for her girl.

Aleigha, just like her mama, is such a bright light. She's fun, full of laughter, and absolutely stunning inside and out. She has an incredible future ahead of her, and I can't wait to see all the amazing things she accomplishes.

She actually graduated last week! 🎉 Please help me celebrate her by leaving a congratulatory message, words of encouragement, or your favorite piece of advice for her next chapter.

Hi friends! I know, I know... it's been a while.

Life has been wonderfully busy, and my schedule has stayed full thanks to all of you. I appreciate your support more than you know!

Today, I’m excited to share a preview from a recent family/newborn session. My sweet friend Payton and her husband, Nick, welcomed the cutest baby boy earlier this year! We were lucky enough to have a beautiful spring day for photos, and it couldn't have been more perfect.

Payton is one of those people you instantly admire. She has such a kind heart, lights up every room she walks into, and truly loves the Lord. I feel incredibly blessed to call her a friend and cherish every moment I get to spend with her.

Capturing growing families—especially when they’re dear friends—is such a special part of what I do. Moments like these remind me why I love photography, and I never want to take that for granted. 🖤

Happy Mother’s Day to all of the moms and mother figures I’ve had the honor of photographing over the years.

One of the greatest gifts of my work is getting to witness your families grow — from maternity sessions to newborn snuggles, from toddlers in your arms to the beautiful chaos of growing families. I get a front row seat to the love, strength, patience, sacrifice, tenderness, and unwavering devotion that motherhood holds, and I am constantly in awe of you.

To the moms doing their very best every single day: I see you, I admire you, and I’m endlessly grateful to help preserve these fleeting moments for your families.

Today, I’m also holding space for those carrying quiet heartbreak alongside this day — the women longing to become mothers, those walking through infertility or pregnancy loss, those grieving children or mothers they miss deeply, and those navigating complicated or strained relationships with their moms. I know this day can hold both love and pain at the same time, and my heart is with you too.

Motherhood — and the hope, grief, joy, resilience, and love tied to it — comes in so many forms. Every story matters. Every heart matters.

Yay for the weekend! 🙌🏻

Today I’m sharing Karina + Austin’s beautiful elopement. I was beyond excited for the opportunity to photograph inside the Indiana Statehouse—Hoosiers, if you haven’t visited yet, make it a priority. It’s truly one of the most stunning in the country!

Karina and Austin are such a gorgeous couple, and even sweeter in person. I had the best time getting to know them—they were up for anything and absolutely nailed every pose. This session felt especially intimate and meaningful as they were just about to welcome their baby into the world (and she has since arrived 💕).

I couldn’t have asked for a better couple for my first session in this incredible space.

Hi friends! We’re already halfway through the week—hope you’re doing well.

This is a scheduled post because I’m taking today off from social media. One of my goals for 2026 is to take better care of my health, including my mental health. Social media can be a lot sometimes, and I’ve learned I need to step away now and then. That said, I’m so thankful for this community—your support means the world to my small business, and I’m grateful for every family who trusts me to capture their moments. It’s all about balance.

This is the Grady family! They are some of the kindest, most genuine people I know. We had such a great session at Studio Loft 18, just talking about life—babies, parenting, marriage, work, all of it. Sophia and Sylvia definitely stole the show, but David and Jenna are just as wonderful, and I’m so thankful for their friendship.

Watching families grow and being trusted to capture these memories is truly the best part of what I do. If you’ve been thinking about booking a session, I’d love to work with you.

Hi friends! How is everyone doing? It’s been a bit of a bittersweet week over here—caring for a pretty sick kiddo (who is thankfully feeling much better now, yay!), while also celebrating our anniversary and a birthday! Today we’re heading out for a weekend camping trip and some much-needed rest and relaxation.

Today’s featured session is the sweet Toth family! These three are some of my favorite people, and it has been such a joy watching their family grow. I’ve especially loved being part of their First Year Collection—shoutout to Courtney for putting the idea on my radar!

Happy Sunday, everyone! I hope you’ve had a restful, relaxing weekend. We’re over here in the thick of a virus with our youngest and crossing our fingers the rest of us stay healthy—especially with a big week ahead! We’re celebrating our 13th wedding anniversary and my birthday (stay tuned for a sweet surprise!), and heading out for a long camping weekend to soak it all in. If you’re the praying type, we’d truly appreciate a little extra prayer for health 🖤

Today I’m sharing my very first session of 2026, and it was such a special one. I had the honor of meeting sweet Cayde and his dad Baylee, and reconnecting with his beautiful mama, Tiffany. Watching families step into this new season never gets old—there’s something so tender and powerful about those first days together.

We chose one of my favorite studio spaces for this session, which gave us the dreamiest soft, glowy warmth—perfect for capturing just how tiny and perfect this little guy is.

I’ve been absolutely loving all the babies this year. There’s nothing quite like witnessing brand new life and the deep, quiet love that surrounds it. The Farmers are already the most incredible parents—so gentle, so attentive, and so completely in love with their boy. Cayde is so lucky to have you guiding him through this world.

Happy Monday, everyone! I hope you all had a beautiful Easter weekend surrounded by the people you love.

Today I’m sharing my final session of 2025, and what a way to end the year! It was a warm, windy, joy-filled day with Mr. & Mrs. Taylor—and truly, they and their wedding party handled every gust of wind like absolute pros!

What can I say about Lexi and Wesley? They are simply wonderful. Not only are they incredibly kind, but also so musically talented. The way Wesley looked at his bride all day long was something out of a dream—so full of love, admiration, and pure joy. You could feel how deeply they care for each other in every moment.

Their day began with a beautiful, heartfelt ceremony at their church, followed by a lively and love-filled reception where the celebration continued. They are surrounded by such an amazing community of family and friends, and it’s so clear they have a strong, supportive foundation as they step into this next chapter together.

Lexi and Wesley, it was an honor to capture your day. Wishing you both a lifetime of love, laughter, and music. 🖤

Hi friends! I hope you had a wonderful weekend and have an even better week ahead.

This week I’m headed to Asheville, NC for my annual sister trip with Whiskful Caking and some of our sweet friends! Because of that, responses to emails and messages may take a little longer than usual—thank you so much for your patience while I’m away.

Also, as usual, I’ve been a little behind on posting lately (sorry! 🙈), but I’m popping in today to share Danielle and Zach’s gorgeous couple session!

We met up at Zach’s family farm and were gifted the most beautiful golden light. It made the perfect setting for photos that truly capture their sweet love story. There’s something extra special about documenting couples in places that mean so much to them, and this session was full of those heartfelt moments.

It was such a joy to see my sweet friend so happy, and I’m beyond excited for everything ahead for these two!

MWP is celebrating 3 years in business! 🎉

Three years ago, I stepped out in faith, and I was terrified. I didn’t think I had enough talent. I didn’t believe I could truly contribute financially by taking photos. I was so wrong.

If you had told me then that I’d be here today, living my dream and doing something I feel called by God to do, I wouldn’t have believed you. From the very beginning, I’ve felt like this is His business, and I’m simply the steward. What a beautiful privilege that is.

To every single one of you who has trusted me with your most precious moments, thank you. It is an honor I don’t take lightly. Being invited into your lives to capture your memories means more to me than I could ever put into words.

My prayer is that you’ll continue to invite me back, year after year, milestone after milestone. My goal has always been the same: that when you work with me, you feel like you belong. That you are seen. And most importantly, that you are loved.

If you’re sitting on a dream right now… this is your sign. Go for it. Don’t wait. Don’t let social media, outside opinions, or your own doubts convince you that you can’t. I truly believe the Lord has given each of us unique gifts, not just to use, but to multiply for good. Lean into yours.

And before I turn this into a novel, thank you.
