These two are getting married this fall, and one of my favorite things about their story is that they've literally spent half of their lives together.

There is something incredibly special about photographing a love that has grown up alongside you. The kind of relationship built through years of milestones, change, growth, and choosing each other again and again.

During our engagement session, my bride mentioned how relieved she was that my wedding collections include engagement photos. And honestly, that's exactly why I include them.

Your wedding photographer isn't just someone who shows up on your wedding day with a camera. We're with you during some of the most emotional, intimate, and meaningful moments of your life. Making sure you genuinely connect with your vendors and feel comfortable around them is so important when you're making an investment this significant.

An engagement session gives us the chance to get to know each other, learn how you naturally interact, shake off any camera nerves, and walk into your wedding day feeling like you're being photographed by a friend instead of a stranger.
I cannot wait to celebrate these two this fall. 🤍

There is something special about seeing motherhood through someone else's eyes.

A morning at the creek, bare feet in the water, little hands exploring every stick they could find, and the kind of laughter that echoes long after the moment has passed.
One day, he'll be too big to ride on her hip and too busy to splash through the creek beside her. But for now, this is their story. Muddy toes, golden light, and a love that feels effortless.

These are the moments worth remembering. Extra special for me because it's my own people 💐

Let me be honest for a second…

I love newborn photos.

I’ve dipped my toes into the world of styled, wrapped, in-studio newborn sessions, and there is absolutely a place for them. Tiny details, sweet poses, all of it is beautiful.

But if I’m sharing what’s truly in my heart, it’s lifestyle newborn photography.

A sleepy baby tucked into mom’s arms on the front porch. Bare feet in the grass. Big siblings running circles around everyone. Dad stealing a glance at his brand-new baby while the sun settles low in the sky. The way your family actually feels in this season.

Maybe it’s because I’ve lived it myself, but when I look back at photos, I don’t just want to remember what my baby looked like. I want to remember the light, the laughter, the chaos, the tenderness, and the feeling of being there.

Give me a warm evening, a growing family, and golden light any day.

Those are the images that stay with me.

I've had the honor of documenting a lot of important moments over the years.
Weddings.
Newborns.
Birthdays.
Graduations.
But adoption days will always hold a special place in my heart.
This day, sweet Journey officially became exactly where she was always meant to be.
What a gift it is to witness a family choose love again and again, through paperwork, waiting, uncertainty, and every step that led them here.
Her name is Journey, and what a beautiful one it's been.
A reminder that some of the best stories aren't about where we start, but where love carries us.
Congratulations to this incredible family. Thank you for allowing me to be a small part of such a sacred day. 🤍

This proposal was so thoughtfully planned from start to finish. Every detail felt intentional, personal, and full of love. From the beautiful setting at Flower Boys to the moment Emma realized what was happening, it was one of those evenings that felt truly special to witness.
One of my favorite things about this job is getting a front row seat to moments that change the course of someone's life. The anticipation, the excitement, the happy tears, and then the joy that settles in when two people realize they're about to spend forever together.
So grateful I got to document the beginning of this next chapter for these two. Congratulations, Emma & Ran. 🤍
