Mullen has his family completely figured out. His mom said, “We know we’re being manipulated... we just don’t care.” Can you relate?! 😆

With one look from that impossibly handsome face, he somehow manages to get exactly what he wants.

His mom describes him as intelligent, observant, curious, and just slightly too smart for his own good. You can almost see the wheels turning as he studies the world around him, always paying attention, always figuring things out.

For all his brains, Mullen’s favorite part of the day is quite simple: when his dad gets home from work, Mullen races to the couch and for his daily welcome-home hugs, followed by cuddling and watching TV together.

He may have everyone wrapped around his little paw, but when it comes down to it, all Mullen really wants is to be close to the people he loves.

Some dogs don’t get the carefree puppyhood they deserve, but King Archie is proof that it doesn’t have to stay that way.

When he was adopted at 11 years old, trust didn’t come easily. His new mom gave him exactly what he needed: patience, gentle encouragement, and time to realize he was finally safe.

Today, this distinguished little gentleman greets people with a smile, proudly offers his signature “Pretty Paw,” and still gets the occasional zoomies (although perhaps a little slower than years past).

I’d say the King has found his kingdom, and he’s living his best chapter. Every Joybringer has a story, and King Archie’s reminds us that joy can find us at any stage of life.

With just two weeks left before the gallery goes to print, I’d love to include your dog in this special series. Whether your dog is a playful puppy or a distinguished senior like Archie, time is running out to be part of this one-time celebration.

Sarah reached out for new headshots as she was making a big professional shift: moving from employee to business owner and opening her own therapy practice.

With a new website and brand coming together, she needed photos that felt professional, warm, and modern. Something to set her practice apart from a corporate brand and build trust from the first impression. Especially important for a mental health professional!

You know those people who somehow know everyone?

That’s Baker. He’s the unofficial neighborhood welcome wagon for people and dogs alike.

His mom says people literally cross the street to pet him. He’s also been known to pancake right in the middle of the street during a walk just to meet another dog.

Sure, he loves belly rubs and bully sticks, but Baker’s real superpower is bringing people together. Because of him, his mom’s met more neighbors, made more friends, and discovered a stronger sense of community. He’s taught her to slow down, be patient, and enjoy the little moments. 🤍

Yes, we can photograph team headshots in your work setting. However, real-life logistics can get tricky fast, especially for larger teams.

What if someone is out on photo day?
What if the conference room gets booked?
What if conditions change halfway through the day?
What if Houston weather is yucky?
What if you hire two new people next month?

That’s where digital backgrounds can be a practical solution. Each person is photographed indoors on a simple backdrop, then placed on a realistic environmental background that fits the company’s brand. This gives the team a consistent, location-specific look that is much easier to repeat over time.

Generic digital backgrounds are widely available, but I prefer to create custom digital backgrounds for my clients using their actual workplace. For this carousel: HVAC, financial planning, and law. Three different industries, three unique backgrounds.

The first thing I noticed about C**t was his eyebrows. 😄

They give him the most delightfully grumpy expression, like he’s quietly observing you and isn’t amused. His parents call this “Yorkie judging.” I find it particularly endearing given that he’s actually such a sweet, chill little dude.

C**t’s favorite things are sunshine, soft blankets, outdoor stroller rides, turkey tendons, and occasionally making off with a tissue or napkin for a game of keep-away. 😆

I’ve been walking a lot recently, which made me think of how excited Penny gets when I say the word “walk”. Here are a few other dogs who felt the same way during their portrait session.

Definitely swipe through to the end. Turns out Preston levitates instead of walks. 😆

Also, looking for a *low-tech* pedometer to track my steps. Do you have one you love?

If Sophie walks into a room, chances are she’ll leave with a few new best friends.

She’s convinced there’s no such thing as too many stuffies, treats, or cuddles. If you see her at a restaurant patio, don’t be surprised if you hear one tiny baby bark announcing, “I’m here! Come pet me!”

This love of people is possibly Sophie’s greatest gift. As a therapy dog with Faithful Paws, she spends her time doing what comes naturally: making people smile. Her mom describes her superpower as “making everyone around her happier just by existing.”

I can’t think of a better definition of a Joybringer.
