A courthouse wedding doesn't have to feel like a compromise.

One of the biggest misconceptions I hear is that if you're getting married at the courthouse, you have to give up the beautiful wedding experience.

I couldn't disagree more.

Tamara and Erek's wedding at the historic 1910 Harris County Courthouse was intimate, elegant, and full of meaningful moments. Their day is proof that you don't need a ballroom or a guest list of 300 to have timeless photographs and unforgettable memories.

Jada wanted a session that celebrated the love between her mother, herself, and her only son in a way that felt vibrant, joyful, and full of life. From the bold colors in the space to the soft moments they shared together, every detail reflected the beauty of their family story. 💛

These are the sessions that remind me why photographs matter so much. Time moves quickly, but images like these allow us to hold onto the people and moments we love most.

Every graduate deserves to be celebrated in a way that feels personal. ✨

This session was filled with so many details that reflected who he is — music, baseball, style, personality, and a family that showed up for him BIG. From the DJ-inspired portraits to the custom graduation announcements with metallic gold details and a velvet finish… every part of this experience was created with intention.

And honestly? I love that.

I love when families go all out to celebrate milestones.I love creating sessions that feel authentic to the person in front of my camera.And I love designing keepsakes that families will hold onto for years to come.

Congratulations to this incredible graduate and his village for reaching such a huge milestone. 🎓🤍

This session felt like art, legacy, and celebration all in one. ✨

With roots in Detroit and memories made here in Houston, this Baylor-bound senior brought so much intention into her session. From designing her own corset and custom pieces to incorporating details that reflected her personality and culture, every part of this shoot felt authentic to who she is.

One of my favorite parts? Her family being involved.

Senior sessions are never just about the graduate. They’re about the village behind them — the parents, siblings, and loved ones who helped make this milestone possible. That’s why I always encourage families to jump in for a few portraits too. These moments matter. 🤍

Huge shoutout to Char’na for the flawless makeup artistry and Helen for doing what she does best. 😂

Built this set in my living room with plants from around my house and somehow ended up capturing exactly where I am in life right now. 🌿

A little softer.
A little wiser.
A lot more intentional.

This season of my life looks like protecting my peace, romanticizing my home, buying “just one more plant,” choosing joy on purpose, and learning that softness is not weakness.

This year for my birthday, I wanted portraits that felt honest. I wanted portraits that reflected where I am in life right now, and I think these images do exactly that.

The emerald green felt right for my May birthstone, but also for the woman I’m becoming. Growth. Abundance. Renewal.

And honestly?
Creating this for myself in my own space reminded me that beautiful things can grow right where they’re planted. ✨🌱

I’m one of one.
