Torrey Pines

A branch of a pine tree with pine cones is depicted against a textured grey background. The composition focuses on the intricate details of the needles and cones, creating a serene and natural scene. I photographed this lovely branch in Torrey Pines, La Jolla, California. The original in camera capture is an infrared, black and white image. I modified the original to take on a more textured finish, still maintaining the neutral palatte.

Interior designers often talk about sightlines. They're the natural path your eye travels when you enter or move through a room.

Most people never think about this consciously, but they feel it. Art placed directly in a sightline changes a room immediately.

Placement is as intentional as the work itself.

I think "Oxbow Landing" could fit into a few different places. Where will you display it?

A brightly colored yellow and blue fishing boat named OXBOW is moored at a wooden pier in Shem Creek, SC, with other boats nearby. The ever popular "Geechie Seafood" ditributor can be seen in the background...a great spot for picking up the fresh catch of the day. The scene is serene with clear skies overhead, imparting a sense of calm on this waterfront setting.

A lot of people hold off on collecting art because they rent and feel uncertain about committing to walls they do not own. But art does not belong to a wall. It belongs to you.

Renting is not a reason to live with bare walls. It is a reason to collect work that matters enough to keep moving (and growing) with you.

"Morning Line Up" and my other work are connected to the people who love them, not just the places they're displayed.

Open New Doors, on black

This collage features a captivating collection of beautiful historic doors that I photographed from a number of worldwide locations. There are doors pictured from Italy, Portugal, Croatia, and America. Each door showcases its unique architectural style, intricate details, and a glimpse into the rich history of its respective region. It is a visual celebration of the diverse beauty and cultural heritage that can be found within the world of historic doors.
