From beginner lessons to pro shots, let's create memories that will last a lifetime. ✨ Served as a Combat Medic with the 101st Airborne through three tours in Africa, Iraq, and Afghanistan. After the war I had a difficult time reintegrating with society and I needed and outlet. Surfing became that outlet. I moved back to Hawaii in 2013, hoping that surfing year rou

nd would improve my mental health. Instead, I found alcoholism and homelessness. In the last 4 years with the help of the VA, a support group, and surfing friends, I've stayed sober and faced my PTSD head on. Now I want to share my outlet with my brothers and sisters in arms. I think many people can benefit from what I have learned. This page is the beginning of my movement toward something bigger. I work as a photographer and surf coach here on Oahu and I'm available for shoots or coaching by appointment.

There is something transformative about the water. Last weekend with was a reminder that the ocean doesn’t see limitations—it only sees athletes.
