Hey there, I'm HaleighI am just a girl on a mission to pet all the dogs in The Lowcountry of South Carolina, so I decided to take photos of them. I’m a proud owner of 2 labs; a silver lab named Remi, a chocolate lab named Charley. I love to capture the happiness of dogs and create memories of your families that you'll have forever. d families on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. I am all for getting dirty and showing the love between one another. If you are about throwing tradition out the window for something that shows how unique you are, lets get together and make that happen. I want to build a genuine relationship with each person in front of my lens and tell your story in the best way possible. I am originally from Ohio, where I was a teacher for a couple years. Now, I am a teacher/nanny who turned into a photographer. I went to school to be an elementary teacher, and somehow found myself loving photography. I had gotten my first professional camera for an anniversary present and I have been addicted to taking photos since. It started with just taking photos of my own 2 dogs. I had no idea that life would lead me here. I firmly believe things happen for a reason and I believe photography was placed into my life for a reason. I was meant to tell stories of dogs and people, to help people cherish memories of their loved ones. I truly believe I have found my calling as a photographer and I can’t wait to share that passion for photography with you. Myth: Extended family sessions are chaotic.

Reality: They’re only chaotic if you try to figure everything out yourself.

Before your session, I’ll help you plan outfits, timing, and location. During the session, I’ll direct every group, keep things moving, and make sure we get all the combinations on your must-have list.

You just have to get everyone there. I’ll handle the rest.

Which is great... because if your family photos feel like a chore, I’m doing something wrong. 😂

I don’t expect your kids to stand perfectly still.

I don’t expect anyone to smile on command.

I don’t expect perfection.

I expect kids to run, parents to laugh, someone to make a silly face, and maybe a little bribery with snacks.

That’s where the good photos happen.

My job is to guide you through the whole thing so it feels easy, relaxed, and a lot more like hanging out than checking “family photos” off your to-do list.

Summer status:

☀️ Shooting at sunrise.
🌴 Shooting 9AM among spanish moss trees
📸 Shooting again at sunset.
💻 Editing until my eyes cross.
☕ Running almost exclusively on caffeine and golden hour.

Summer is wild over here, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Just a friendly reminder that the work doesn’t stop when your session ends. Every gallery still gets hours of behind-the-scenes attention before it ever hits your inbox.

Thanks for hanging in there with me during the busiest (and best!) time of year. I promise I’m working on your photos... probably while you’re asleep. 😉

Can we all agree that neutral colors never miss?

You don’t have to wear matching white shirts and jeans anymore (thank goodness), but choosing soft, neutral tones keeps the focus exactly where it should be... on your family.

Plus, these photos will still look just as good hanging on your wall 20 years from now.

Honestly? Fair question.

The truth is, you’re not paying for the 30 min or an hour we spend together. That’s actually the quickest part of my job.

☀️ I only schedule beach sessions at sunrise or sunset because the light is worth waiting for. That means my calendar fills up fast and I only have a small window each day to photograph families (but I also do offer sessions among the Spanish moss trees in the morning!)

⛈️ Summer in the Lowcountry keeps me on my toes. If a thunderstorm decides to crash your session while you’re on vacation, I’m doing everything I can to rearrange my schedule and fit you back in before you head home.

🏃 My sessions aren’t about standing still and smiling at the camera. They’re about running, playing, exploring, snuggling, tickling, and letting kids be kids. Which also means I’m sorting through hundreds (sometimes thousands) of images afterward to find the ones that tell your story best.

💻 Then comes editing. Straightening horizons. Removing distractions. Fixing the hair the wind had other plans for. Making sure every image feels polished while still looking natural.

There’s also the planning before your session, answering questions, location guidance, gallery delivery, equipment, software... all the not-so-glamorous stuff that makes your experience feel effortless.

So yes, my sessions are an investment.

Not because you’re paying for 30mi n or an hour.

Because you’re investing in everything that goes into creating photos you’ll actually want hanging on your walls years from now.

(And because toddlers and the wind have a personal vendetta against photographers. 😉)
