Currently sitting in the Boston, MA airport thinking how lucky I am to own my own business. A business that is well into 6 figures. A business that allows me to travel to wellness retreats. A business that allows me to meet so many amazing families and couples.
After spending this weekend truly reflecting on life at The Day of Reset, hosted by , Iāve officially come to terms how important balance and mental health is. I canāt keep grinding my body and mind into the ground working. If I could I would work 7 days a week, but my body and mental health says otherwise.
Iāve learned itās so important to slow down, the breathe, the take in the small moments, to be present, to have slow mornings and evenings. With that being said, I have slow down a little. No more working 7 days a week. Itās time for 4-5 days a week. Itās time for more reading, more yoga, more quality time with .lequire and my friends, more reflecting. If I truly want to reap the benefits of owning a business, I have to slow down. Iām allowed to say no to sessions without feelings guilty. Iām allowed to say no to friends without feelings tense that they will be mad at me. Iām allowed to say yes to the things that serve me and my business.
Not much is changing. Maybe less sunsets a week but all the more time to focus more on my clients and provide quality experiences.
Mental health is SO important. This is your sign to simply slow life down. You donāt always need to be go go go, and hustle. Enjoy your coffee hot or a bubble bath at night but do it with intention š
