I honestly can’t put into words how much this means to me. Can I make one small request as a photographer?

If you inquire about booking and I’ve taken the time to answer your questions, send pricing, check my calendar, or even hold a date while we chat, please don’t ghost me.

I promise I’d much rather hear, “It’s not in my budget right now,” or “I’ve decided to go a different direction,” than be left on read.

A quick, honest message takes less than a minute, and it allows me to open that date back up for another family who’s hoping to book.

Running a small business means every inquiry gets my time and attention, and I truly appreciate the same courtesy in return.

No hard feelings if it doesn’t work out—I just ask for communication. 🫶🏼

A little cake smash FAQ!

One question I get quite often is, “Do you provide the cake for the cake smash?”

The answer is no, and I wanted to explain why! 🫶🏼

For liability, allergy, dietary, and ingredient reasons, I do not provide or purchase the cake for cake smash sessions. Every little one is different when it comes to allergies, sensitivities, dietary restrictions, and what parents are comfortable with their babies eating.

Instead, parents are welcome to provide their own cake from a bakery or baker of their choice! This also gives you the freedom to pick the flavor, ingredients, colors, and design that fits your little one and their session perfectly. (Please coordinate with me so I can ensure the cake and decor match and will look seamless for each session)

I’ll take care of the photos, setup, fun, and capturing all those adorable messy moments — you just bring the cutie and the cake!

POV: You DON’T cancel your session because the weather looked questionable… and then you get THIS.

Sometimes we have to make a few time changes and trust the process—and besides I’m basically a weather watcher now… all jokes aside, the last THREE sessions have been GORGEOUS!!!

So before you cancel early because the sky looks a little moody… just remember: the weather doesn’t always know what it’s doing, but I do. 😉
