Thank all the gods that we live in a world where dogs exist. How lucky are we? I miss my p***y every day, I’m happy to know he’s with Bumba. We’ve added a beautiful addition to our household, she goes by the name of Rylie! She’s a 10 year old husky elkhound mix. She’s fit in seamlessly, and we are so thankful for her. These pictures make me emotional, where there was once a Punkus, now a beautiful girl who would sell me out for chicken. Thank god for dogs. ❤️

A few months back I got to tag along to witness one of the coolest training sessions with In Odor K9. These dogs and handlers are what dreams are made of✨

A choreographed dance between dog and person, shuffling to a song only they hear. Shauna and her team of handlers are the ones to watch. These dogs love their work even though they don’t earn a check, eager to please. A couple of pats, with an excited “good boy/girl” and most importantly a slimy ball at the end of a rope is all the payment they need.

I’ve signed up for the embark photo challenges with .ed. The first prompt being “colorific.” While the judges liked my photo, I did not follow the prompt pretty much whatsoever 🤦‍♀️. The idea plagued my thoughts since first signing up so I had to see it through. This is one of the very last pictures I took of p***y, it may have been reviewed better by the judges but ya live and you learn.
Grief is a weird animal, it follows me around the house, demanding to be fed. I give it ham, a little bit of cheese now and then. It sounds just like my dog, jumping off the bed. It leaves black hairs with white tips in my food. It makes me curse and flip off the dog p**p trash cans. I no longer get to care for the one thing I held above everything. Anyway we have an ant problem now. I lay bits of ham on the ground, and wait for him to take a heavenly bite. My grief must be fed.

The house is quiet now without you. I know you’re up in heaven terrorizing Bumba. Day one of of the rest of forever without you. Jeez louise, we miss you. Where are you, if not behind me, where are you if not beside me. I love you P***y. My bestest boy.
Where we buried you, the birds ate the worms from the freshly turned dirt. The sky opened up and dumped rain while the tractor ran, the sun came out and rain seized once you were settled. Absolutely perfect.

I am looking for a Cryptid. Not really but sorta kinda, I’m looking for a preferably white/cream Borzoi. Any light colored sighthound will do! So imagine lil Bo here but stretched into a lengthy creature. Please share and tag yo friends with long dogs. If interested please message me with a picture of said dog. When photographing cats, I often take on the very serious role of a heartbroken ex. You know the type: obnoxiously whining for your attention. Waving snacks and gifts in front of your face, on my knees begging, pleading. I’m a self-professed Stage 5 Clinger. I hate to stoop to such levels, but when you’re outnumbered, you do what you must.

Back in July P***y had a bump on his lip removed and it turned out to be cancer.
While they were confident they had removed it all, it came back and spread to a lymph node. After removing it a second time and taking the lymph node out we decided to move forward with chemo. After 5 rounds he is officially in remission! The team at .slc is composed of the most amazing human beings. Through his emergency visits and overnight stays, they were the most supportive and kind people. Punk LOVES going to the vet. He freaking loves it!! That’s because of the people that have loved on him and have been there at the scariest moments. He’s a little crooked after his professional facelift. That’s okay, we like him a little wabi sabi. If you are in the Salt Lake City area, even beyond, and you are going through tough times with your animals health, I couldn’t recommend them enough. Punk gives them 10/10, as do I. ❤️❤️❤️
