The biggest and best surprise of our lives 🤍 Baby Grimes coming this December!
Before anything else, I want to say this: God is so good. His power and the power of prayer is greater than anything else. After years of hoping, praying, treatments, tears, and waiting, our greatest surprise arrived when we least expected it.
If you had told me back in April, when I shared my National Infertility Awareness Week post, that I was already carrying our miracle baby, I never would have believed you. Just days later, while in Florida, we closed one chapter and unknowingly began another with two pink lines in a sketchy CVS bathroom.
Pregnancy after infertility and loss can feel incredibly scary, but from the very beginning, God has given us so much peace and reassurance. Just hours after finding out, we walked into a little coffee shop and found a newborn onesie that said “answered prayer” 🥹 It felt like a gentle reminder that He was with us every step of the way and that it was okay to feel happy, excited and hopeful.
We are overwhelmed with gratitude for this precious gift and the journey that brought us here. At the same time, our hearts remain with those who are still in their season of waiting. Please know that we are praying for you, and we can never forget what that road feels like. If you need to mute or unfollow for a while, I completely understand. I’ll be sharing more personal updates on a separate account for anyone who would like to follow along.
Baby G, we already love you more than words can say, and we cannot wait to meet you. Thank you God for this incredible blessing 👶🏼
