Photos: Pride of Baltimore II, Havre de Grace Arrival on Friday morning, September 4th.
I was fortunate to get a ride with Captain Jeff Stagnoli of BaySail School of Sailing from Tidewater Marina. He did a fantastic job maneuvering around the Pride of Baltimore II for the best lighting.

The Pride of Baltimore II must stay in the channel and cannot sail into Havre de Grace. She draws a 12-foot draft. She needs more space and deeper water to sail.

While in Havre de Grace, PRIDE II will be open to the public for FREE deck tours September 4–7. Come aboard & welcome her home!

Twenty-five years ago, Leslie Landsman took a chance that I would be able to photograph the "Fish Out of Water Project". The spring and summer of 2001. The camera I could afford was a Nikon N990 (3.3 megapixels) point-and-shoot and two 64 MB CompactFlash cards. The project in the city of Baltimore raised $175,000 for Baltimore City Schools' internet access, music, and art programs.
It was an experience of a lifetime.
