Our 3rd Baby for the week arrived last night at 40 weeks+2 days, missing Midwife Amanda’s birthday by just a few hours! This mama handled her third Labor and Delivery with faith and trust, even though it was very different than her last two. We’re thanking the Lord for another safe home birth after a cesarean (2HBAC), and a healthy 9lb 4oz baby! ❤️

At the beginning of the summer a sweet momma gifted the Hattiesburg Midwifery team these cute mugs. I love getting to be apart of a team who takes such sweet care of mommas, and mommas who appreciate the team who walks along side them.💛

As we wind down for the night after spending the day celebrating 4 years of life, i figured I’d share our birth pictures.🩷

My pregnancy and delivery sparked a little fire in my soul. And now here i find myself serving other mommas.

You know when you’re sitting in the middle of something, unsure where to turn or go? Obviously knowing the Lord is in control of all things but not understanding the “why.” I left the obgyns office in tears begging God for answers, frustrated and uncertain of where to turn.

Now 4 years and some change later i get to understand a little bit more. Thankful for 4 years of loving my girl and the Lord opening these doors. Thankful for every single new life I’ve gotten to help welcome into this world. Thankful for every woman I’ve supported along the way.

The last few weeks have been full of births, consultations, midwifery and doula prenatals and pp appointments, meeting with other doulas in central ms and being in prayer about the the future holds for our family and birth work for me. Hopefully I’ll have some exciting news to share in the near future!❤️
