Some sessions stay with you long after you put the camera down. 🤍

This engagement was one of those.

Quiet moments. Soft light filtering through the trees. The kind of love that doesn’t need direction — it just exists. Watching them walk hand-in-hand beneath the moss, laughing in between stolen glances, reminded me why I fell in love with photographing couples in the first place.

Engagement sessions aren’t about stiff poses or perfect smiles. They’re about connection. The way he instinctively pulls her closer. The way she closes her eyes when he kisses her forehead. The in-between moments that say this is home.

I’m so grateful I get to freeze these chapters in time — the season right before “I do,” when everything feels full of promise and possibility. ✨

Some moments don’t need words.
Just the crinkle of a nose, the squint of a smile, the quiet kind of joy that says “I’m home here.”

This wasn’t a posed shot. It was a pause — a real one.
Right after vows, before the bustle of the evening. She leaned in, he smiled like he’s been smiling at her for years (because he has).
And I clicked the shutter.

It’s not always about the dress or the flowers or the timeline.
