e is….is what I strive to capture in a photograph. Whether it’s an afternoon with your family, capturing the tiny features of your newborn, celebrating an engagement or any times between, that is what I want to capture for you! Every session tells a story, capturing bit of the magic, light, and beauty in our everyday world. I can’t tell you what it is, but there is something that I love deeply about photography. I love the way it requires me to live in the moment. Although some may argue the opposite. All too often, you find yourself living till this or living till that, but, to be honest, life is too short for waiting till this or that. Photography helps me slow down and admire the beauty of the people that are in front of me while I take in their relationships and capture who they are together. I love how photography begs me to enjoy the moment, but more importantly, to capture the beauty within in. A moment that will soon become a memory, lost in the sea of all the other memories in our mind. I love the fact that I can preserve some of these moments in time so that long from now, when a client thinks back, “remember when….”, they can pull out a photo and remember it like it was yesterday! You probably won’t understand it, but I will do my best to try to explain my passion. There is this aching feeling whenever I pass by a field of wild flowers. The ache is even larger whenever I look up and catch a glimpse of colorful, glittery sunset, sunrise or clouds that have the most perfect ray of sunlight shining thru them. You probably don’t understand it, but I ache when I watch those things pass by in my rear view mirror. I’m drawn to them, they call my name like an old forgotten friend. My heart longs to stop and take them in. These things are like my own piece of Heaven on Earth, the way God whispers to me, “I painted this sky just for you”. There is nothing I would rather do than meet with you in that field of wild flowers, at sunset with the sunlight casting the perfect light behind you as you interact with those you love. To share my passion with you and to hopefully give you a paper memory that you can cherish for years to come!
