Terri Calla Photography As a photographer, I capture moments—joy, grief, and everything between. Some memories stay forever. Keep a hotline saved, just as you would for a friend.

If you ever feel the weight is too much, please know you’re not alone. You matter. findahelpline.com Welcome to Terri Calla Photography! I am a mom of three, wife of a wonderful man, daughter, sister, and friend. My passion for photography came when my beloved grandmother gave me my first camera for my high school graduation gift. I have been capturing my way of seeing this world since then. I love

getting the true way someone looks in a photograph. That look only the ones that love and cherish their face see. I love capturing all the perfect moments in a families imperfect life. My favorite shot is the one that wasn't planned. I do everything with heart and passion in my life for through my eyes there is no other way.

Everyone’s prom photos turned out beautiful.
I’m not going to lie though… I’m not really sad that my prom photo days are over — and they are officially over. It’s probably my least favorite thing to photograph. I would take 100 weddings over prom any day of the week. I live for a nice loose timeline, and prom is anything but that. The kids are always gorgeous, but the timing is always absolute chaos.

Friday afternoon, I had exactly 18 minutes from the time we pulled into Beacon Gardens until we had to leave and head back to Kate’s to get Matt and Callie Jo onto the trolley.

But somehow, in those quick little in-between moments, magic still happens.

I just had to share the rest of their photos from our super short but oh-so-sweet prom mini session. I’ll take whatever time I can get with these two. I couldn’t love them more if I tried… and man, does my camera love being pointed at them.

Not bad for the 18 minutes I had with them.

Another quick thank you to for the flowers, for Matt’s attire, and of course for always being the perfect backdrop. Thank you again for all your sweet compliments and for allowing me to use your beautiful flowers, even if only as the background to these memories.

And the biggest thank you still needs to go to the ever-so-talented — giver of time, needle sticks, creativity, and friendship — for designing and creating Callie Jo’s one-of-a-kind original gown. She will never forget her senior prom, this dress, or the entire process… and that’s because of your incredible talent, kindness, and love poured into every single stitch, lace dying and detail.

Okay, I'm done for now...

And then… there was the dance floor.
Mrs. Lahteine stayed to see all “her students” grace the runway, with Callie Jo being the very last one.
Mrs. Anderson couldn’t wait to grab a photo with her too, which meant so much to this mama heart.
The teachers, administrators, parents, and friends… all the people who have loved these kids through the years… you could feel it in every corner of that room last night. Students stopping to respectfully thank me for taking photos through the years, and Corey and Tony for DJ’ing. This Class of 2026 is built a little different.
As for me? I only stayed long enough for my girls’ tradition — Hannah Montana. Once she played and they danced their hearts out for my camera… peace out for this mama. I was off to edit photos with a full heart and teary eyes, knowing these moments are slipping by way too fast.

Last night was so much more than prom photos.
These are the moments they’ll talk about years from now… trolley rides filled with laughter, best friends squeezed shoulder to shoulder, dresses everywhere, music playing, phones snapping photos, and the feeling that childhood is somehow ending and beginning all at once.
Watching Callie Jo with this group of girls, who graciously accepted her from those very first days of sixth grade, was such a gift. There is something so bittersweet about senior year friendships… knowing life is about to carry everyone in different directions while desperately wanting time to slow down just a little.
I’m so thankful they had this night together.

Our sweet Callie Jo and Matt attended her senior prom tonight. ✨
As a class officer, Callie Jo helped plan the entire evening, which made this prom season extra special… and at times a little stressful too.
Her wrist corsage and Matt’s boutonnière were beautifully made by our friend Nora and Matt’s suit came from
But perhaps the most special part of all was Callie Jo’s dress. It was custom designed by the incredibly talented Rose Bancroft a former student now attending Fashion Institute of Technology and studying abroad in Italy.
Callie Jo and Rose designed the dress together, we shopped for fabric over Christmas break, and Rose created it before returning to Italy in January. It meant the world to Callie Jo to wear something made with so much love, creativity, and intention.
She looked absolutely lovely tonight. 🤍

Thank you for the perfect backdrop.

For the first time… I’m stepping away.
No sessions.
No booking calls.
No constantly answering emails and messages.
No trying to do everything all at once.
From now until July 14th, I’m fully off the grid and out of the office.
Honestly… I’ve never done this before.
But this season of life feels too important to experience halfway.
We are about to graduate our last baby from high school.
Our LAST one.
And this mama heart needs to fully soak in every second of it.
The emotions.
The celebrations.
The chaos.
The “lasts.”
All of it.
And maybe even bigger than that… for the first time since last summer, all FIVE of us — Corey, myself, Gracie, Tony, and Callie Jo — will finally all be together again.
We didn’t even get Christmas together this year for the first time ever, and I think that realization changed something in me.
Time is moving.
Kids grow up.
Life changes whether we are ready for it or not.
And while I love my business deeply and am endlessly grateful for every person who trusts me with their memories… right now, I need to be fully present in my own.
No multitasking.
No editing while everyone sleeps.
No answering emails from the sidelines.
Just family.
Just time together.
Just making memories instead of documenting every single one.
Thank you for always supporting me, my work, and my heart behind all of this.
I’ll be back after July 14th refreshed, inspired, emotional… and very, very grateful. 🤍

Mothers are almost always the ones making sure everyone else is photographed.
But someday, their children will search for photographs with them in it.
This is your reminder to step into the frame too.

This past week, after losing my grandmother and also saying goodbye to a friend who lost his battle with ALS, I’ve found myself thinking deeply about photographs and why they matter so much.

Not for Instagram.

Not for timelines.

Not for trends.

But for memory.

For legacy.

For the people we love most.

As wedding photographers, we’re often hired to document the obvious moments — the ceremony, the vows, the portraits, the first dance. And yes, those moments matter deeply.

But over the years, I’ve learned something else.

One day these won’t just be senior photos.
They’ll be the photographs her mom pulls out years from now saying, “That was my girl.”
Take the photos.
Get in the frame.
Print them.
