Celebrating life through candid imagery Hi, I'm Madeleine! I love what I do.

Life is fleeting, beautiful, and most importantly unpredictable and can change in an instance. I learned this at a young age when I lost my grandpa to Alzheimer's and I will never forget the impact he had on my life and the way pictures would light up his eyes even when he was so far away. Even when we couldn't communicate with words, photography spoke volumes for us.

And just like that, I found myself tearing up during Anna & Paul's ceremony. 💛 I know one day, when I'm old and gray, I'll find myself looking back on these days not only as a photographer, but as someone who was profoundly lucky to witness the very best parts of humanity. I'll remember the quiet, heavy honor it was to be trusted with people's history.

I am always amazed and left in awe when I witness the pure magic that happens on the other side of my lens. I never fully understood the magnitude of this until I became a mama, which then really changed my perspective on life as a whole. Life is the greatest, most fleeting gift we have, and little by little it goes by in the blink of an eye.
