Fish hiding among the plants in the beautiful little pond at Kibbutz Ramat Yohanan. Kids appear to enjoy watching the little critters swim around, but adults seem less interested. I suspect that their curiosity has dulled over time and the pond becomes just a landscaping feature. But what do I know….

This beautiful little pond plant at Kibbutz Ramat Yokhanan shelters a diverse group of fish and turtles. It’s easy to get lost tracking the fish as they swim about. Kids appear to be fascinated by them. I believe they are captivated by the bright colors and movement more so than their parents whose sense of wonder may have dulled over the years. But, what do I know….
