An old Utah juniper snag found at Dead Horse Point State Park near Moab, Utah. The Park got its name from a 19th century legend involving some wild mustangs corralled by cowboys on the narrow point high up on the mesa and then abandoned and left to die. It’s a sad story, but an extraordinarily beautiful place to visit nonetheless.
