Transparency has always been really important to me, especially when it comes to my business and the people who trust me with their photos. 🤍

Life happens, and right now my family needs a little more of me than usual.

Business isn’t stopping and everything on my calendar is still moving forward as planned. I may just be a little slower behind the scenes for the next week or two while I give myself some extra room to be present where I’m needed.

I’m incredibly grateful to have clients who understand that behind this business is also a real person with a real life and a family I love very much.

Thank you for giving me a little grace. It means more than you know. 🤍

My sessions aren’t for everyone. And honestly? That’s kind of the point. 🤍

They’re for the families who want to actually enjoy taking photos together.

Of course, we always start with what I lovingly call “the mantle photo.” You know the one... everyone looking, everyone smiling, everyone posed. The photo every mom, grandma, and aunt wants framed somewhere in the house. 😂

But once we get that? That’s when the fun starts.

I’ll give you prompts, but they usually feel a whole lot more like games. Chase each other. Get the giggles going. Snuggle up. Be weird. Love on your people. Let the kids be kids.

You guys just get to be you.

Honestly, I’m just there to take the photos. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Because I don’t just want to give you photos of what your family looks like right now.

I want them to feel like you, too. 🤍

Okay I KNOW I already shared a sneak peek of Ryan + Jordan but I finished their gallery and I simply need everyone to look at them again. 😂🤎

These two were just so freaking fun to photograph. We started the morning with Birkley joining us at the park (because obviously the dog needed his moment 🐾) and then finished up at the Green Bay Botanical Garden.

The whole gallery just feels like THEM and I love it so much.

So yeah… they needed another spot on the feed. 😂

The coolest part about betting on yourself isn’t building a business.

It’s building a life you genuinely love.

One where I get to spend my weekends documenting love stories, my weekdays helping small businesses grow, and plenty of time on job sites showing the world what blue-collar businesses are really made of.

Some people see three different jobs.

I just see people who are wildly passionate about what they do. And somehow, I get to tell their stories.

The funny thing about betting on yourself is that it has a way of taking you places you never could’ve imagined. Introducing you to people you never would’ve met, opening doors you never knew existed, and turning dreams that once felt out of reach into your everyday life.

You’ve only got one life. Bet on yourself. You might just end up living a life that’s bigger than anything you imagined. 🤍

Especially if that dog is Birkley.

He may have stolen the spotlight, but Ryan and Jordan made the whole morning feel effortless. They spent the morning laughing together, loving on Birkley, and making my job incredibly easy. 🤍
