A little sneak peek for Kyle & Darrell šŸ¤

This was one of those weddings that reminds me why I love what I do.

Not because everything was picture-perfect, but because it was so full of love.

The kind of love that shows up. The kind of love that makes room for everyone who helped shape your story.

After the ceremony, we made a special trip to visit Kyle's grandpa, who wasn't able to be there in person. Getting to capture those moments together is something I'll never forget. You could see the pride he had, how much he loved them, and how important that day was to him.

And honestly, that was the theme of the entire day.

Everyone who loved and supported these two was included. Every relationship mattered. Every person had a place.

It wasn't about putting on a wedding.
It was about celebrating a life they had built and the people who helped them build it.

There are moments from this day that will stay with me for a very long time, and that visit with Grandpa is one of them.

Kyle & Darrell, thank you for letting me be part of something so meaningful šŸ¤

Friendly reminder that your session doesn’t have to be awkward šŸ¤

You don’t need to know how to pose.
You don’t need to practice.
You don’t need to worry about what to do with your hands.

Your only job is to show up and hang out with your favorite person.

I’ll take care of the rest.

Honestly, the best sessions usually feel less like a photoshoot and more like a really good date night.

Unfortunately, if you book a branding session with me, you’re probably going to leave with photos and an inflated sense of self-confidence.

Because here’s the thing…

Most people show up nervous. They tell me they’re awkward, not photogenic, or still trying to figure things out.

Then they see the photos.

And suddenly they’re not just someone with an idea anymore. They’re a business owner. A creator. A person building something worth being proud of.

I don’t think branding sessions create confidence.

I think they help you see the confidence that was already there.

The photos are just proof.

You could say this mornings photo session was a vibeā€¦šŸ˜Ž Seriously cannot wait to share more!!!

Friendly reminder:

You don't need a million followers.
You don't need the perfect logo.
You don't need to have everything figured out.

But you do need photos that show the world who you are.

The businesses that stand out aren't the ones trying to look like everyone else.

They're the ones brave enough to lean into what makes them different.

Let's create a gallery that feels like your brand, your personality, and your story.

ā˜€ļø Summer Branding Sessions are officially open.

You know that little pair of sunglasses in my logo?

They’re not random.

The red color? Inspired by my husband’s old Ford Ranger from high school.

The shape? Based on my daughter’s sunglasses.

Even my retro fonts and style have a story behind them.

When I first started my business, my branding looked a lot like everyone else’s. It was pretty, but it wasn’t me. After a lot of trial and error (and even some business cards I ended up hating), I finally realized that the best brands aren’t built from trends. They’re built from stories.

I shared the full story behind my branding on the blog today. šŸ¤

Scout + Mykenzie šŸ¤

Some couples make my job easy.

Not because they know what to do in front of a camera, but because they genuinely enjoy being together. The laughter comes naturally. The smiles aren't forced. The quiet moments feel just as important as the big ones.

These two are exactly that.

Add in their sweet pup Arlo, a spring evening, and a whole lot of love, and you get a session that felt more like hanging out with old friends than taking photos.

I couldn't wait to share a few sneak peeks from this one. These two are something special šŸ¤

Sunday Swap = my kind of soul-filling Sunday.

A room full of women coming together, connecting, creating, and sharing something made with love? Say less. šŸ¤āœØ

I made cookie Giving Plates for the event, and I’m obsessed with the concept: enjoy the treat, pass the plate, make something homemade, and give it to someone else. That’s the kind of meaningful little ripple effect I live for.

So here’s your reminder: make the thing, show up, take the photo, love on your people, and create spaces that leave everyone a little fuller than they came. šŸ’›

Watching your best friend build something from the ground up is such a special thing 🧔🌼

Pashua has always been someone who pours into the people around her, so seeing her create something that feels so deeply her has been amazing to watch.

Marigold Blooms is the kind of business that makes people feel something. It’s not just flowers, it’s the feeling of being celebrated. A shared experience to build and create something you can take home and look at long after the event is over.

It’s memories. It’s warmth living in every petal you take home

I’m so proud of you for taking the leap and building something so beautiful. I already know this business is going to bloom into something amazing šŸ¤
