I could see a busy night on the Fox River / Port of Green Bay coming together yesterday, so I headed to downtown Green Bay, Wisconsin, with my drone to get some shots for my stock photography files. Here are a few of my favorites.

A few of my favorite photos from yesterday's De Pere stop of the Tour of America's Dairyland bike races. I shot everything from the youth races up to the pro races, but the determination in the youth races made for the best photos.

You can take the boy out of the newspaper, but you can’t take the photojournalist out of the boy. I channeled my inner photojournalist yesterday while in Door County and grabbed a couple of frames to document how people are dealing with the historic snowstorm that dumped around three feet of snow on the peninsula. My favorite shot is of people coming out of Wild Tomato in Sister Bay with a takeout pizza as employees try to widen the shoulder-width path from the front door.

While flying my drone last week near Gills Rock on the Door County Peninsula of Wisconsin, I came across this scene. I was drawn to how the trees, up on a bluff, cast a shadow on the snow and ice along the shore. The shot looked okay as a single frame, but as I was taking the photos, I shot enough frames to allow me to stitch together the frames to create a more dramatic horizontal image and capture more of the shorleine in one photo..

For the last few years, I've been stopping by a 143-foot tugboat called the Donny S., as it sits aground in a few feet of water on the northeast side of Baileys Harbor in the Door County Peninsula of Wisconsin. The boat got into its current situation after a series of unfortunate turns of events. Efforts have been made a couple of times to get the boat out to deeper water, but they have all failed. I hadn’t been able to take a photo of it that I was particularly happy with until this week. I really like how the textures of the ice created some interesting patterns to frame the tug.
