I’ve loved Holmdene since Gregg and Chloe’s wedding years ago, so when it came to mind again recently, I knew exactly who needed photos there.

Fast-forward to now—many years and two awesome kids later—and we found ourselves standing in the same spots where they said “I do.”

Gregg and Chloe are my favorite kind of parents to photograph because they let their wild, spicy kids be exactly who they are. No forcing, a little fussing—just real life.

My people are the bold people. The ones who don’t fit into one box. The ones who have experienced a range of real life and know there’s more to it than an algorithm and a highlight reel. The ones who want to make sure there’s good, quality photos with no extra bu****it for themselves and also the people around them to hold onto. The ones who I can connect with beyond just a gallery delivery.

I’ve watched as a lot of photographers try to figure out their “ideal clients,” based on income, style, cinema lover, etc. So.

I’m looking for the bold ones. Who live authentically as themselves and let their kids be independent during their photos. If what I’ve said hits a little ‘I get this,’ part of you, even if you don’t need photos now or anytime soon, I’d love to have you as part of my journey and get to be a part of yours.

Kids are these incredible little humans with whole worlds of their own — and sometimes a special toy is a big part of that story.

There’s something magical about rainy days — the soft light, the sound of raindrops on the windows, and the way families naturally gather a little closer together.

With Lauren and Luke’s lively crew, that rainy morning magic was exactly what we captured. From giggles in the living room to the smell of French toast cooking in the kitchen, every moment felt so warm and real — a true glimpse into the heart of their home.

Lauren and I have known each other since kindergarten (yes, back to the green eggs and ham days we both refused to eat 😅), so photographing her family now felt extra special. Seeing their old photos around — taken nearly a decade ago — and being able to add new memories to display one day was such a full-circle moment.
