Let’s do a short Hills wedding day recap, shall we? 🤍
This perfect day was filled with intentional details, thoughtful planning, unwavering love, and a crowd that came ready to celebrate this sweet couple.
Ingleside is a place near and dear to James’ granddad, his father, himself, their family—and now, his bride, Olivia HILLS 😉 If you scroll, you’ll find “The Duck Pond” cabin, the very spot where James first told Olivia he loved her. The emotions were HIGH 🥹
This family property, filled with history—from farm equipment to hunting season traditions—became the most dreamy setting. Olivia and James were the first to be married here, and they truly turned it into the wedding venue of every girl’s dreams.
As Olivia walked down the aisle, James was completely speechless. They said “I do” beneath the most incredible oak tree, with florals cascading into their cross, surrounded by duck ponds and towering cypress trees… the definition of Lowcountry charm.
After portraits and cocktail hour, it was time to celebrate—and they did just that. Their first dance?! Unreal. Perfectly planned and flawlessly executed… I think every jaw in the room dropped.
The rest of the night was filled with dancing, laughter, champagne, and so much love. They truly danced the night away.
To end the perfect day, they rode off into the night in James’ granddad’s vintage Toyota Land Cruiser—one of my favorite moments. and I had the best time capturing every second of it.
This is a wedding I’ll never forget. Getting to know Olivia throughout their engagement season and capturing this day was such a gift… who knew this job would lead to lifelong friendships 🫶🏻
