Golden hour will forever be my favorite time to shoot 😍 ✨ There’s just something about the warm glowing light that makes everything feel softer 🤍

My fall golden hours are almost gone! 🍂
I currently have just 6 evening openings left in September + October, including only ONE Saturday golden hour 😱

These dates are available for full-length sessions, which means more time to settle in, play, move around and create a mix of those beautiful posed portraits + plus plenty of candid moments 🤍

Okay, maybe they won’t actually hurt your feelings 🤣 But these are a few things I wish more families knew before their session.

You don’t have to know how to pose. Your toddler doesn’t have to perform. A mini isn’t always the best fit. And sometimes you just have to trust us when we tell you the weird-looking patch of grass at 6:47pm is going to photograph beautifully 😅

At the end of the day, my goal isn’t perfection…it’s to give you photos that feel like your family and memories you’ll actually want to hold onto.

About 10 months ago a couple reached out to me to help them with photos for their adoption profile. The company they were working with sends bios of all prospective parents to the birth mom, so she can learn about each family and decide which one sounds like the best fit for her little one 🤍

I can’t imagine how hard it was for mom to make this decision, but I know she picked a great couple who will love her baby well and teach him about a God who loves him perfectly

Saturday was HOT 🥵 But all my families were such good sports, and LOOK at the magic we made anyway 😍

There were people all around us, but you’d never know it from these photos. We played, explored, got our feet wet, and found our own little pockets of river magic. This is exactly why I love these sessions so much 🤍

Our next River Mini date is September 19, and we’re heading to a different spot that should give us a little more breathing room and privacy.

A heads up about this location: there is a small gate fee and about a 10–15 minute hike to get to our spot. But that little bit of extra effort is exactly what helps keep it quieter and makes it such a beautiful place for photos.

Monday Mini Session Update ✨

One Christmas mini date is officially SOLD OUT! 🎄 There are still a handful of spots available across my remaining fall + holiday mini dates

If you want more flexibility with your date or location, have little ones who may need some time to warm up, or just want a more relaxed session without watching the clock quite as closely, a full session might be a better fit for your family. 🤍

Full sessions give us more time for the posed photos and all of those in-between moments, plus much more flexibility when it comes to scheduling!

Fall weekends are getting limited, but I still have plenty of weekday evening availability for full sessions!

Whether you’re looking for a quick mini or a slower, more relaxed session built around your family, I’d love to get you on my fall calendar. 🍂

9 months IN-N-OUT 🍔🍟🤍

Honestly, is there a better way to celebrate 9 months?!
Tiny paper hat, a tray full of fries, and her very own burger…this might be one of my favorite milestone session ideas yet! 😍

The best milestone photos are the ones that capture exactly who they are in this little season of life ❤️

🍂☀️ Saturday golden hours are getting limited for fall ☀️🍂

These are my remaining Saturday evening openings through November!

If Saturdays are tricky, or you’d rather have a little more flexibility with timing, I have more weekday availability throughout the fall.

And a little reminder: these are for full sessions, which means more time to let little ones warm up, take breaks when we need them, and keep things feeling relaxed instead of rushed 🤍

I’ve really enjoyed a slower summer with my kiddos, but I have to admit…I’m ready for busy season (and cooler weather 🥵)

We might have to wait another month for the cooler temperatures, but my fall calendar is already filling up! 🍂

If you know you’re going to want family, maternity, newborn or milestone photos this fall, it’s never too early to start looking at dates 🤍

I’m excited for all the families and sweet little moments I get to photograph this season.
