I'm Lauriann Wakefield and live in the mountains of Northern Utah in view of beautiful Bear Lake with my husband and two boys. I like to create casual pictures, like playing in the water or a big group hug. But I also understand the desire for formal portraits. When I’m photographing you, I want to create pictures that make you glad you have each other, and pictures that will be your favorites for
a lifetime. If you’re up to getting a little sand on your feet, some wind in your hair, or some grass in your socks, then we will get along just fine. With my photography, I'm not interested in creating the perfectly posed portrait with every hand in the right spot, and every person with a smile facing me. I want to illustrate what makes the imperfections in your family simply beautiful. I don't mind a wet hem, or wind blown hair. I don't mind a crying baby, or a toddler gone silly. I don't mind the look siblings give each other, or their banter and laughs. These are all the elements of who you are right now, and they are beautiful and fleeting.
