📸 THE ODOMS ❤️

Some families just make your job EASY!

When being present, engaged, and genuinely enjoying each other is already part of your everyday life, family photos should feel just like THIS!

45 minutes. I think I said "SMILE!" maybe four times. 😂

Why? Because the Odoms couldn't STOP laughing!

Everyone had ideas. Everyone had opinions. Everyone was making somebody else laugh. And somewhere in between the jokes, the playful chaos, and the moments nobody planned… we captured something pretty special.

A family simply being themselves. ❤️

As a photographer, these are the sessions you dream about. Not because every pose is perfect or everyone is looking at the camera, but because the love, the connection, and the personalities are REAL.

Photographers who are using AI...

As long as you're not misrepresenting YOUR actual work and you're delivering what you've promised your clients, I don't see a problem with it.

I'm using AI to showcase the inspiration for my upcoming Christmas Mini setup. I already have all the elements for the setup, but this is my FIRST year offering Christmas Minis.

So, what am I supposed to do?

Describe every single detail to every prospective client?!?

OR...

I can show you a visual representation of my inspiration while making it CLEAR that it's inspiration, NOT the actual setup.

From there, potential clients can look through my portfolio, read reviews, compare my work to other photographers in the area, and make an informed decision about whether they want to book with me.

Let's be honest: AI isn't going anywhere.

Photographers who know how to use it selectively, ethically, and respectfully shouldn't be chastised simply for incorporating it into their business.

HOWEVER...

If you can't respect your prospective clients, your fellow photographers who make a living in this industry, or even the integrity of your own work, don't be surprised when people call you out.

Especially when your misrepresentation affects those whose livelihoods depend on the very industry you're potentially damaging.

There's a BIG difference between using AI as a tool and using AI to deceive people.
